Splunk Cloud has amazing customers obtaining deriving extraordinary insights into their business from data. The Splunk Cloud product management team focuses on making the cloud service a world-class experience for customers.

We are looking for someone to own and guide the experience for the administrative persona. Are you up for the challenge?

What you'll do.

  • You understand, own and represent the voice of the administrator persona for Splunk's cloud based service. You map key tasks for this persona.

    Establish the vision to dramatically simplify their lives. Identify critical factors in boosting their productivity as their company consumes cloud service at increasing scale and scope.

  • Collaborate with UX, PM, Engineering, Service Operations, Marketing and Field on a regular cadence to execute against the vision in delivery of a holistic admin experience.

What you'll need to succeed.

You are organized, positive, and passionate about working in a rapidly changing environment.

  • You cultivate deep empathy for challenges faced by this persona in current state.

  • You build a holistic, exciting vision for future state.

  • You present a roadmap for execution accounting for things outside of scope of control.

  • You are skilled at socializing ideas to attain cross-functional agreement.

  • You have 5-8 years of relevant product management experience.

  • Experience in a SaaS environment.

  • You have shown ability to lead without authority.

  • You have experience or prior knowledge of Splunk a plus.


Bachelors degree; MBA or similar degree highly preferred

Responsibilities: * Research customer needs and validate proposed solutions * Champion the needs of schools/universities, educators, and students, inside and beyond the classroom * Define prioritized requirements as part of an overall product roadmap, collaborating effectively with other product managers, designers and engineering to optimize delivery of features * Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations that engage both internal and external audiences * Use analytical data to understand performance against product KPIs, presenting key findings and adjustments to plan so as to meet or exceed goals * Continually assess market needs and opportunities, adjusting product priorities and/or securing support for additional investment as needed * Partner with marketing, documentation, support and other teams to ensure product benefits are communicated to customers * Be an ambassador for the product and, more broadly Adobe, engaging with customers via social media, press opportunities and at industry events What you'll need to succeed: * Minimum of BS in Computer Science, BA or equivalent experience * 5+ years work experience in product management, ideally across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, web) * Domain expertise involving gaming, social, collaboration platforms, educational software, LMS platforms, and/or teaching * Consistent track record in working cross-functionally to deliver cloud-based software and/or services * Ability to present complex ideas clearly and to rally people around a vision. Excellent interpersonal skills with both local and remote teams. * Ability to work in a team setting and/or independently as needed; self-starter. * Ability to rapidly prioritize and continually learn/adapt to changing circumstances * Highly enthusiastic, creative, with an entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to innovate.
