The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security Solutions team is responsible for solving security problems at AWS' scale that directly helps AWS' end customers achieve their security goals. Our challenges are unique and there are no existing market solutions that can solve them.
While the base technology may be familiar, we work to invent and innovate solutions. We work to set the security bar for future years and drive the technology and culture changes necessary to continuously raise the bar. We go after the long-term strategic targets.
We work with many customers and data sources, both internal and external, to drive continuous improvements to the internal security posture of AWS. We actively seek opportunities to externalize our internal solutions to our external customers through new service offerings.
We are looking for an experienced product manager to help lead our service offering. As the AWS Security Solutions Principal Product Manager, you will be the sole product management owner defining strategy / product vision through feature definition, prioritization, positioning, adoption, and P&L of our service offerings.
This is a high visibility and high impact role that will interact with all levels of AWS leadership. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where delivery time for new products and features is typically measured in months. You're naturally customer centric and thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires strong technical and business judgment and solid communication skills.
You will need strong judgment. Our leaders have a lot of ownership and autonomy so they need to be right a lot. You will have to be obsessed with delivering the most customer-centric experience for security services on the planet.
Finally, you'll need to be able to invent and simplify which is what we do every day on AWS service teams. At AWS, we're reinventing technology infrastructure in the cloud. We need leaders that are able to look at problems in new ways, inventing simple solutions to complex problems.
