In this role, you will help define and build a best-in-class customer experience for Amazon's footwear, apparel, luggage, and jewelry customers. You will work closely with the retail team, Fashion Tech program leaders, and numerous engineering teams to define, design, and deliver both backend tools and innovative CX that enable improved personalized customer experiences.

In addition to the parts of the customer experience that you will own directly, a large part of your job will be to make the entire shopping experience better by building shared capabilities that focus first and foremost on the individual needs of our customers. You will report to Amazon's Director of Fashion Technology and be a part of the Fashion Tech leadership team, playing an important role in helping establish our long-term strategy of innovation for our customers, and urgently executing the plans that we already have in motion.

The scale and impact of Amazon Search is huge, and we are looking for the right person to join our team, and own projects focused on growing its intelligence and impact. We're offering an opportunity to use the judgment of how search works that you have built over time, and your experience with building products that use Machine Learning [ML], big data, knowledge bases to build new delightful shopping experiences. You have experience working on search products, but you want to go beyond what most of them can do today. You will build an intelligent shopping experience that'll delight customers in surprising ways. To be successful, you'll need customer obsession, grit, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to deal with ambiguity, and strong bias for action. You will need 10+ years' experience building large scale products in search. Your experience should include building products that use some of these technologies: knowledge bases, data science, recommender systems, multi-arm bandits, A/B testing, multi-variate testing, and relevance and ranking algorithms. Experience with SQL / scripting languages for analyzing data is a strong plus. On a day-to-day basis, you'll be part of a small, close-knit team of technical product managers, developers, and applied scientists who innovate on customer experiences in an agile, highly collaborative manner. You will partner with teams throughout Amazon to learn about business and customer needs, discover new technologies. You'll build systems that are scalable and efficient, intelligent end-to-end shopping experiences at Amazon scale. Be an advocate for customers and work backwards from their needs. * Work with world class scientists and engineering to frame customer problems and their solutions * Develop Search vision, strategy with senior leaders across Amazon, communicate goals, status, and customer impact. * Manage the product innovation roadmap from inception through implementation; establish success metrics and drive execution. * Understand and explain complex technical issues, discern impact, and communicate them to business partners to drive resolution. * Follow customer and technology trends and Think Big about innovation. * Lead and mentor product managers; participate in recruiting efforts.
