As Nike's Principal Product Director, Nike App @ Retail, you will be responsible for the creation of physical + digital experiences for customers shopping our best partner brands. You have a passion for bringing the best Nike experience to customers and eliminating customer friction.

As part of the Nike Direct team, you will lead the end-to-end design, development and delivery

of partner focused features and feature sets. With this role, you will focus particularly on defining how to best connect Nike customers with the best possible Nike Customer Experience.

You will define the most optimal retail consumer journey of the features you own, considering the digital, operational and physical dependencies required. You have an analytical mindset and are continually assessing your product for value and prioritizing features to align.

You solve complex technical challenges and tradeoffs, using advanced analytics and qualitative research to support your point of view. Your products are grounded in customer insights prioritizing reducing friction for our biggest customer pain points. You are a great collaborator you will proactively build trusting relationships across the Nike Direct organization to launch your product, including functional partners and geography teams.

Key internal partners include: Nike Connected Marketplace, Nike Direct Store Operations; Nike Direct Digital product; Nike Direct Engineering; and Retail & Network Experiences. You can bring these individuals together to define the operational and business process impacts required to bring you product to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product lifecycle: Owns the end to end execution and delivery of a feature or a set of features on the product roadmap.

    Works with resources across and outside the organization from design to delivery to launch. Manage delivery challenges and define physical retail pilot/rollout strategies. Make thoughtful decisions on the fly, constantly clearing roadblocks to getting your product live.

  • On-Going Delivery. Accountable for measurement, planning and on-going enhancements of feature(s).

  • Process. Facilitates process mapping, gap analysis, data and how to help assess business

implications of feature, tool, or platform.

  • Prioritization: Effectively design project plans based on priorities, set clear/measurable

objectives and deploy team resources appropriately to achieve business goals.

  • Product Specifications: Write and consult on product specifications, user stories,

manage design challenges and execute agile product delivery.

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with both digital and functional teams to bring

your product to life. Key partners include Store Operations, and Nike Direct Engineering.

  • Analytics and Experimentation: Measure clear product KPIs, derive key insights, and

devise and execute proof-of-concept executions to learn. Captures metrics to measure

how features are performing and how they can be improved, including trend line

analysis, multivariate analysis, etc. Ensures on-going monitoring of post-launch results

through analysis and reporting.

  • Industry Analysis: Continuously monitor and share emerging technology trends,

competitive experiences and best-of-breed physical+digital executions.

  • Strategy: set the strategic direction for the product by defining long term needs, areas of opportunity, product-market fit, and business viability.
