What you'll be doing...
You will be responsible for the management and development of complex data analysis for Verizon Up Loyalty rewards program. You will perform the following activities:
Leading analysis efforts around complex data sets to determine key drivers related to VZ Up customer behavior, churn, and revenue and/or upsell opportunities.
Building, automating, and maintaining complex SQL queries which compile performance data necessary for analysis of strategy effectiveness.
Designing various metrics to measure intended benefits, unintentional benefits or losses, and overall value to the business.
Making analytic findings available through development of presentations, Tableau dashboards, and reports. Building, automating, and monitoring these reports.
Making these qualified targets available and understandable to downstream marketing communications teams. Ensuring use of this data aligns with its intended goals.
Identifying opportunities and emerging trends and make recommendations based on analysis results.
Working with business and strategy managers to develop requirements for reporting, scorecard creation and maintenance, and deep dive analysis.
Packaging results of analysis into professional presentations for communication to peers, superiors and executive levels of the organization.
Working with Finance to provide data needed to support business cases.
Working individually and with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, and manage projects to completion.
What we're looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance or Technology or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in SQL, Tableau.
Even better if you have:
A Master's Degree. Ideally, an MBA.
Six or more years of experience in Marketing or Business role with experience in data analysis and/or Finance.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
Effective communication, presentation and Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
Strong interpersonal and cross-functional team leadership skills.
Experience in postpaid Consumer Wireless industry.
Experience with Loyalty rewards programs.
Three or more years of experience in SQL; ideally, Teradata SQL.
Exceptional skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience in R, Alteryx or Other BI tools.
Ability to work, problem solve, and lead independently.
Ability and interest in solving new problems,
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through multitasking, prioritization, and negotiating expectations.
