Working with the Partner Sales organization, you will use your technical expertise and business acumen to ensure our high-value partners are able to grow their business by leveraging the full scope of New Relic's product suite. You will champion New Relic's strategic direction and vision, help the Partner Sales teams position New Relic on behalf of their customers and work to support the integration efforts to New Relic's platform by our leading partners.

The successful candidate will be adept at ensuring customer adoption and upgrades and will have outstanding relationship building skills. They will have experience solving technical problems in real-time and will be a trusted advisor and solution architect.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Business Development team with opportunity qualification, demonstrations, Proof of Concept presentations (POC), RFP responses & business justification in a presales capacity

  • Oversee the adoption, optimization, and integration of New Relic's products within a partner's business infrastructure, platform, service or offering

  • Work closely with the Business Development team to identify revenue opportunities through the partners integration to New Relic, integration to a PaaS marketplace, integration to a partners application or service or upsell of new services and contract renewals

  • Evangelize new product features & provide partner and customer feedback to New Relic product management and engineering groups

  • Assist the Customer Success team in the post-sales technical process: installation, deployment, training, technical check-ups, and escalation management

  • Ensure timely resolution of partner issues by coordinating support responses

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the partner's business as well as their technical environment

Your Qualifications

  • 5 years + of technical pre-sales experience with the high-tech industry

  • Strong technical background and partner sales/customer orientation

  • Specific experience in Application Performance Management (APM) concepts and other monitoring solutions.

  • Development experience in one or more of the following languages Java, .Net, Ruby, C, Python

  • A clear understanding of network & system management solutions

  • Background in mobile device platforms & architectures (IOS & Android)

  • Firm understanding of OO concepts

  • Superior organizational and project management skills

  • Strong presentation & negotiation skills

  • Excellent communication, critical thinking & analytical skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent

Providing assistance to prospects with choosing the right set of Products and designing the Application-integration right. Hands-on assistance with Integration (code-reviews, code-samples etc.) and Tuning of the customer Application with company's technology. Hands-on engagements to help consumers successfully execute stress testing and get to deployment readiness. Troubleshooting performance, scale, availability issues for integrated solutions and debugging Production Problems when the situation arises.
