Verizon works with other companies in the online digital media supply chain to provide an end-to-end streaming media platform. This Principal Partner Product Manager (PPPM) role is a hybrid of Product Management, Technical Account Management, and pre-sales consultant. The PPPM wears helps define product requirements and drive technical integration activities with each partner, but also interfaces with the sales team and customers to support the rollout and ongoing support of customer deals. From a day-to-day perspective, the PPPM will work with a cross-functional team to validate market opportunities, to ensure proper partner governance, and to explore new partnerships to fill gaps in our product offering.

About The Role
To achieve joint partner and Verizon program goals, the Principal Partner Product Manager is required to resolve problems and remove obstacles that may diminish business success
You should be knowledgeable of various online video technologies such as video encoding, metadata management, ad insertion, video playback, consumer-facing OTT applications, subscriber management systems and analytics.
Through productive, daily engagement, you will strengthen partner relationships that leads to successful business execution, opportunities to innovate, and unmatched customer experience
Engage with appropriate Verizon Media resources including customers, sales, project management, engineering, web services, and customer/technical support.
Demonstrate strong communication, coordination, and creative problem solving expertise; understand the importance of metrics and telemetry to monitor the validity of the product
Work on a range of diverse partner implementation projects, requiring the detailed definition of product requirements (PRDs), technical and product account management, product delivery/deployment,
You should be familiar with applications that deliver online video for OTT and TV Everywhere, as well as knowledge on cloud services
Equally comfortable in front of partners and executives, presenting new products and technical opportunities, collaborating towards leading innovations
Excellent written, presentation, and analytical skills are required to manage the day-to-day operations of a partnership portfolio
With an attention to detail, you understand the necessity to include research, validation, and prioritizing requirements, documenting ecosystem and product requirements, and evangelizing both internally and externally.
