Principal Network Engineer
We are looking for a Principal Network Engineer who exemplifies the key attributes with a deep understanding across the network platform (on premise, hosted and cloud).

Monitor existing application and infrastructure while working to improve existing monitoring
Responsible for secure network design, establishing, and enforcing system standards
Work alongside CloudOps engineers to achieve project milestones.
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders and management.
Develop and support processes to maintain uptime, SLAs and availability of critical platform components.
Share the responsibility of supporting the environment and product during off-hours.
Key Requirements
Hand-on advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking, load balancing, firewalls, HTTP, SSL, DNS, DHCP.
Experience with load balancer configuration, F5 BigIP preferred
Operational familiarity with Next Generation Firewalls (ie Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet)
Deep Knowledge of routing and switching platforms including BGP, OSPF and EIGRP 10G/40G, L2/L3 connections, VLANs, IRF/Clustering.
Desired Experience and Skills
Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking, load balancing, firewalls, HTTP, SSL, DNS, DHCP.
Experience with Linux systems in an enterprise production environment
Experience with network performance and failure monitoring/diagnostics practices and technologies.
Experience working with Cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Experience working within IaaS and SaaS environments.

Overview This role will report to the Network Engineering and Automation Manager. The Network Engineering and Automation team is a newly created team that use NetBrain platform and the team member's domain expertise of enterprise network engineering to create network automation solutions for large enterprise customers. The team will contribute to various aspects of NetBrain function, including but not limited to support and service enablement, platform expansion, product requirement, machine learning, data engineering, and customer consultation. Responsibilities * Analyze network troubleshooting and design technologies commonly used by enterprises and service providers, digitize them through NetBrain automation features to create network automation solutions for enterprises• Work with large customers directly and serve as the automation escalation point for support, service and pre-sales team • execute in-depth research on advanced network technology, such as SDN/NFV, SD-WAN, IoT, IBN and traditional network technology such as BGP, MPLS, Multicasting, IPv6, Data Center virtualization across multiple vendor platform. The outcome of research will enable Product Development team to create new product features, or help users to better customize NetBrain software for advanced functions• Provide network engineering expertise for other functions of the company, such as R&D, marketing, training, etc.• Install, research and integrate various network management software with NetBrain solution.• Work with Support and Service team to help customer integrate NetBrain to their IT management workflow Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in science or engineering• 5+ years of Experience in one or more of the key areas, with a demonstrated history delivering positive results within:• Network Operations (NOCs)• Network Security• Network Planning, Design and Implementation• Continued Network Optimization• CCIE or equivalent network certifications• In-depth knowledge with network protocol packet frame structure and multi-vendor technologies• Experience with machine learning, big data processing, cloud computing, network virtualization (SDN/NFV), network management is a plus• Excellent communication and knowledge document skills Netbrain Technologies Burlington MA
