We are currently seeking a Principal Network Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join our Infrastructure Team in Atlanta, GA.

Technology We Use:

  • Cisco ACI, F5, Ansible, Python

Your Role:

  • Leads the network & telephony infrastructure across the entire enterprise.

  • Builds new network capabilities, enhances existing capabilities, and translates business requirements into specific systems, technology solutions and integrations.

  • Initiates & leads network infrastructure and technical design activities.

  • Partners with entire Network Service team as well as external partners/vendors.

  • Thinks strategically about business and technical challenges as well as being an excellent communicator across the enterprise.

  • Provides transparency and builds a collaborative culture.

  • Works independently on smaller size projects and achieves aggressive business deadlines with a very high standard of quality.

  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

  • Brings initiative and activity, good judgment, and foresight of future issues.

  • Acts as a change catalyst.

  • Be hands-on and drive technical proof of concepts, technology evaluations, reference implementations, research, discover and implement new ideas & technologies aligning to the network infrastructure goals.

  • Provide educational/mentoring resources to network engineering teams.


Required Skills & Experience (Minimum):

  • 10+ years of work experiences in a senior technical consulting role with direct hands-on experience

  • BSCS or related field

  • CCIE Certified

  • Understanding and experience in ACI, including Multi-Site and Multi-Pod

  • Experience with Viptela SDWAN technologies

  • Knowledge and extensive experience of Python Scripting and Ansible for Network automation and analytics

  • Experience with Load Balancers, F5 preferred

  • Expert knowledge of firewalls technologies including use of VPNs

  • Deep understanding of network security systems, intrusion detection systems and protocols including ISE, ACE, ACS, VPN, GRE, IPSEC, IKE, TACACS, RADIUS, ACLs, 802.1x

  • Advanced knowledge of DNS and DHCP and Microsoft AD infrastructure

  • Experienced in designing and implementing network components to support Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery Plans.

  • Extensive background in planning and crafting projects and analyzing existing network systems and procedures for efficiency and effectiveness

  • Experience with multi-tier architectures, including standard methodologies around tier isolation

  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications

  • Superb communication skills, including the ability to write network and security documentation, policies, and guidelines

  • Cloud networking knowledge (Private, Public, Hybrid)

  • CCNA and CCNP (Routing & Switching) certifications

  • Current and recent experience applying scalable, optimized, fault tolerant, and distributed system design patterns

What We Look For (Preferred):

  • Master's Degree preferred

  • CCDP certification

  • Diverse network exposure across multiple companies in different verticals and security postures.

  • Delivered White papers or served as speaker at industry conferences

  • Deep understanding of industry trends and developing strategies

  • Additional security certifications desired CISSP, CISM, CCSP, SANS

  • Strong knowledge of wireless management and configuration

  • Experience with VoIP voice solutions
