Job Description

As a Principal Systems Engineer, you will leverage your deep understanding of Systems Engineering principles to tackle complex problems from conception to final design with collaborative team input. You will plan, schedule, and lead project assignments involving the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of various engineering techniques and procedures with minimal guidance. Utilizing simulation and system modeling techniques, you will build prototypes and prove concepts during the exploratory design development cycles, working closely with cross-functional teams. Your role involves making critical decisions, delivering key project outcomes, and contributing to the program or organization's technical strategy. You will demonstrate good business judgment in balancing budget, profitability, and vendor relationships, and have a thorough understanding of life cycle management across various phases of product development.

Hard Skills

• MBSE experience within Systems (minimum 8 years)
• Experience in Medical device or Aerospace industries

Soft Skills

• Accountability for critical decisions and deliverables

• Creative thinking in problem resolution

• Good business judgment

• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in NA, Minnesota and some days remote.
