Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a Military Sustainment professional eager to constructively influence the future of U.S. Army simulation-driven training; lead, train, challenge, and mentor and oversee all facets of training for Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) simulation command post exercises to train Division and Corps Commanders and their staffs during Warfighter and Mission Rehearsal exercises at Fort Leavenworth, KS. He/ She will collect and manage data pertaining to military warfighting function (WfF) (Army-Sustainment) procedures, decisions, and orders during computer assisted military training exercises for Army Brigades, Divisions, and Corps. Works closely with military WfF Observer Controllers/Trainers (OC/Ts); collects computer generated data, observer Controller/ Trainer observations, analyzes data, and prepares visual products for After Action Reviews in coordination with military WfF counterparts. Develops and produces graphic products for After Action Reviews, Mission Command Training (MCT) Workshops, In-Progress Reviews, and briefings. When required, he/ she assists in exercise design, scenario development, weekly pre-exercise planning meetings, site surveys, and exercise planning conferences. Develops exercise plans, coordinates internal and external resources, monitors planning progress and timelines, and prepares contract deliverables items. He/ She will maintain proficiency in the various simulations and models and AAR systems supporting Army training exercises. Candidate should have recent experience with Military Sustainment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum MEL 4-CGSC, Field Grade Officer

  • Graduate of a related Advance Course (Sustainment)

  • BS or BA degree with 6 years' related experience.

  • Must have a DoD SECRET Clearance.

  • Familiar with current Army Sustainment/Joint doctrine.

  • Highly proficient with MS Office suite of software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree. Battalion/Brigade or higher staff officer experience.

  • Previous experience in computer assisted simulation training.

  • Prior experience as an Observer Coach/Trainer.

  • Army training exercise design experience

Sustainment Analyst for the U.S. Army's Mission Command Training Program, Operations Group Juliet (OPSGRP-J), as it supports collective training requirements of Army Special Operations units. Provide direct support to the OPSGRP-J Sustainment Warfighting Function Chief. Develop and produce graphic products for After Action Reviews, Mission Command Training (MCT) Workshops, In-Progress Reviews, and briefings. Analyze exercise observations as they apply to the tactical and operational level of war. Research and analyze operations during exercises to ensure conformity with U.S. Joint and Army doctrine, policies, and procedures. Maintain proficiency in Special Operations Force - Conventional Force Interdependence, Integration and Interoperability (SOF-CFI3). Support the MCTP After Action Review (AAR) analysis and production. Serve as a Planning Team Lead responsible for planning, preparation, documentation, and execution of contractor supported MCTP exercises and OPSGRP-J activities. Assist Senior Analyst in completing associated deliverable documents. Basic Qualifications: * 6 years relevant experience. * MEL4-CGSC Equivalent, BS or BA degree. * Must have or the ability to obtain a US DoD Secret Clearance. * Familiar with Sustainment and Army/Joint Special Operations Forces doctrine. * Experience in simulation training and simulation programs used for Army training, scenario development experience. * Proficient with MS Office Suite or software. * Hands on experience in the assembly and presentation of Army AARs. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience at Battalion or Brigade S-3. * US Military SOF background. * Graduate degree. * Brigade or higher staff officer experience.
