Northrop Grumman is in need of a Military Intelligence WfF Workstation Controller, to assist with combat exercise simulation. This individual serves as a Warfighting Function (WfF) (MI) subject matter expert, and supports multifunctional area cell lead for a team of contractors supporting the Army's Mission Command Training Program (MCTP). Trains military personnel on the Warfighter Simulation (WARSIM) and WfF specific simulation processes and procedures.

Enforces realism of exercise through role playing and conflict adjudication and resolution. Supervise the work cell mission of translating training audience operations and plans in to simulation inputs/tasking's and scripting requirements. Train and support work cell augmentees in reporting, role playing elements subordinate to the training audience.

Ensure that the work cells WfF units/assets are simulated IAW current doctrine and unit SOP. Supports the After Action Review (AAR) process by communicating significant events using the Workstation Reporting System (WRS). When required, assists in exercise design and scenario development. When required assists in pre-exercise planning by conducting Site Surveys and participating in planning conferences.

Assists in Developing exercise plans, coordinating internal and external resources, monitoring planning progress and timelines, and preparing contract deliverables items. Assists as required in the development and writing of HICOM orders for Corps and Division exercises. Assists as required in the development of the simulation training POI.

Assists as required as a WfF SME for the development of the simulation Rules and Workarounds book. Conducts as required certification training in his/her assigned WfF. Assists as needed in maintaining the WARSIM WfF Data Base.

Acts as required as the Assistant POC for various administrative additional duty positions. Maintains proficiency in the various simulations and models supporting Army training exercises. Maintains awareness and understanding of current and emerging Army & Joint doctrine for Army Brigades, Divisions, and Corps.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum Military Education Level (MEL) 4 CGSC or Equivalent; graduate of a related Advance Course; BS or BA degree with 6 years of experience. Additional experience may be used in lieu of a degree.

  • Must have, or be able to obtain, a DOD Secret clearance.

  • Familiar with current Army and Joint Doctrine.

  • Highly proficient with MS Office suite of software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree.

  • Brigade or higher staff officer experience

Exercise support staff for Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) simulation command post exercises to train Division and Corps Commanders and their staffs during Warfighter and Mission Rehearsal exercises. As part of Operations Group X, the Analyst section collects, processes, and analyzes computer simulation battlefield data to support Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) training events. The OG-X Analyst prepares numerous graphic displays, data collection processing instruments and analysis products designed to enhance doctrinal fidelity and compliance with WFX training objectives by the World Class Opposing Forces (WCOPFOR) Division of OG-X and provides products for the training unit's after action review (AAR). Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Prepares data collection plan required for warfighter exercise planning in support of the exercise design plan for MCTP simulation exercises. 2. Develop and design analytical tools to support OG-X activities and provide input to the Adversarial website for MCTP exercises. 3. Provides analysis of OG-X operations to ensure fidelity of the scenario design is maintained throughout the exercise period. 4. Coordinates analysis activities with OPFOR analysts in support of the training audience objectives conducted during the exercise and prepares final OG-X after action report for each exercise. 5. Conducts research in support of scenario requirements for responding to requests for information about WCOPFOR operations and threats portrayed for each exercise. 6. Providing analysis and research for industry, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerability. 7. Preparing assessments of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of classified and open source information. 8. Developing and maintaining analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations. 9. May deploy to various countries, as required, in support of U.S. military operations. Basic Qualifications: a. Bachelor's Degree - 6 Years Experience or Master's Degree - 4 Years Experience b. US Army Command and General Staff Officer Course, or MEL 4 equivalent Intermediate Level Education (ILE) c. Familiar with current Army/Joint doctrine. d. Highly proficient with MS Office suite of software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access) Preferred Qualifications: a. Graduate degree. b.
