Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our dynamic team in the electronics industry as a Principal Operations Analyst. As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes and ensuring the highest quality products are delivered efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification along with extensive experience in analytics, operations, and electronic manufacturing.
Worksite location options:
Onsite: 5 days per week in Oxnard, CA (9/80 work schedule)
Hybrid: Not an option based on the role and its function
Remote: Not an option based on business needs
Responsibilities:
Determine the most efficient methods for manufacturing parts or products, ensuring maximum efficiency and quality.
Develop management control systems to enhance capacity planning and cost analysis.
Enact quality control procedures to address production issues and minimize costs.
Utilize software tools to achieve operational efficiencies and ensure proper business application requirements are met.
Develop capacity planning models and conduct simulations for touch, lead times, machine times, etc., to improve planning capabilities on the shop floor.
Develop & and maintain KPI's performance metrics and analysis for continuous improvement.
Optimize shop floor layouts for enhanced efficiency.
Facilitate Kaizen events, workshops, and projects focused on continuous improvement and cost reduction.
improved workflow paths, including planning equipment movement when necessary.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, or equivalent.
10 years of relevant experience within the electronics/electrical manufacturing industry/environment.
Direct experience in Circuit Card and Electronic Modular assembly and test techniques (SMT, BGA, NPI, DFX).
Lean/Six Sigma experience, including Green Belt (Black Belt Preferred) or Lean Expert Certification.
Demonstrated experience in continual improvement methodologies with tangible results.
Strong change management and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Intermediate to proficiency in Microsoft Office, Expert in Excel (Power BI is a plus).
MRP/ERP/MES experience required (Oracle is a plus).
