Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a Logistics Planner for our SEMA program.

The Logistics Planner will provide material control and spare analysis, supply chain support obsolescence and risk assessment issues. This position manages Northrop Grumman and Government's Equipment and supply to field sites and works hand-in-hand with engineering, production, procurement, and the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyze technical data and reports to determine spares and support equipment provisioning requirements.

  • Review spare and equipment depletion analysis in order to provide specific recommendations for spare/repair parts

and support equipment positioning.

  • Manage and control the asset location and allocation of customer inventories and other related Contractor Acquired

Property (CAP) and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).

  • Forecast and manage budget systems as requested

  • Consistently monitor inventory and material allocations for accuracy.

  • Generate inventory reports on stock usage, location changes, and core tracking; including Return Material

Authorizations (RMA) and facilitation of Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP).

  • Identify and manage component hardware and software configurations.

  • Initiate material procurement and manage procurement processing.

  • Monitor equipment for DMSMS/Obsolescence issues.

  • Coordinate processing of Jurisdiction Classification Requests (JCR) for import/export of equipment IAW United States

Munitions List (USML) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 6 years logistics experience required.

Interim Secret clearance required to start.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with Aircraft Maintenance and Parts Manuals.

Experience procuring goods and services for aircraft fleet maintenance.

The position supports IBCS, which is a ground transportable, tactical integrated air and missile defense system. Our Team is seeking an experienced Logistics Planner with experience in system integration analysis. You will coordinate operational logistics activities across the integrated product support elements as well as perform near term and long range planning and resourcing activities. You will also: * Independently develop solutions to a variety of complex logistical problems * Perform complex logistical management tasks, without direct supervision, and formulate objectives to assignments * Plan logistics schedules and arrange activities to accomplish objectives * Represent the logistics organization as a point of contact for resolution of logistics matters * Coordinate the activities of multiple stakeholders in the resolution of logistics issues * Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant logistical matters * Develop and brief presentations * Manage a customer help desk utilizing the Catalog Ordering Logistic Tracking System (COLTS) Basic Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years Department of Defense experience or an equivalent combination of education and relative experience may be considered. 2. A current Secret Security Clearance 3. Ability to communicate at all levels of management, customer and vendors 4. Ability to travel domestically and internationally 5. Ability to coordinate activities and organizations enabling the efficient flow of goods, services, and information 6. Ability to deliver time driven objectives within financial constraints Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience with air and missile defense systems, Major End Items (MEI) and equipment 2. Experience with Integrated Product Support technical developments 3.
