Perform audit controls testing and documentation, working paper review and sign-off, report writing, and follow-up of previously reported management corrective actions. Provide IT advisory and consultancy to internal IT and non-IT business partners. Plan and supervise all phases of audit engagements from planning through reporting. Primary focus on IT engagements but may include cybersecurity and operational audits. Involvement in developing the annual audit plan and performing and ad hoc projects. Supervise teams of generally one to four people on audit engagements -- potentially including contract and co-source staff. #AuditWithPurpose
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform audit control testing, documentation and report writing.
Supervise audit, advisory and consultancy engagements as lead auditor.
Follow-up on previously reported management corrective actions.
Support ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned, including assisting in the development of the annual audit plan.
Provide consultancy to business partners on IT risk and controls.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to travel up to approximately 20% locally (San Diego, Los Angeles, Texas), potentially elsewhere nationally.
IT auditing skills.
Project management and supervisory skills.
Licenses and Certifications:
Professional certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CIA) preferred.
Valid California Driver's License required.
