JOB DESCRIPTION: Raytheon IIS is looking for a successful candidate to provide multi-disciplined engineering support for the Air Force DCGS Systems Integration Laboratory (DSIL) at the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Sustainment Engineering Center (ISEC) in Warner Robins, GA. The DSIL is staffed by an organic workforce, augmented by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to meet the technical needs of the program. Primary tasks include test & evaluation and hardware/software support of the DCGS lab system, enterprise tool development, site acceptance/ tie-line testing, and training the organic workforce. The position primarily supports the AF DCGS Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) in working and resolving local Tier 1 and Tier 2 Incidents, and Enterprise Tier 3 and Tier 4 Incidents.


  • US Citizen with existing/active TS/SCI Clearance.

  • Current Security+/Security+ CE certification.

  • Possess working knowledge of Operating Systems: Solaris, Windows Server, Linux (RHEL 6/7).

  • Possess working knowledge of VMWare ESXi (6.0 - 6.7)

  • Possess working knowledge of Cisco network devices (switches, routers, ASA's, etc.): install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot.

  • Possess the ability to write and troubleshoot UNIX-based scripting languages: shell, Perl or Python.

  • Must be willing and able to travel if required (No travel now but some future travel may be required).

  • Must be willing to work 40-hour work week with shift and weekend work required as necessary to meet customer requests (paid benefit).


  • Networking (Cisco/ATM) experience or certification.

  • Linux+, RHCSA, Windows Server/Workstation or VMWare certification

  • AF DCGS Core Site SR or GEOINT experience.

  • Possess working knowledge of AF DCGS IT systems: operating systems, server management, storage systems, workstation management, system backup and recovery, and account management.

  • Possess working knowledge or Dell Storage appliances.

WORK SCHEDULE: 40-hour work week, with shift and weekend work required as tasked to support DSIL and Enterprise mission requirements.

TRAVEL: Minimal or none; some future travel may be required.

EDUCATION: BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (BS degree = 8 years applicable experience plus required years of experience for level).

Responsibilities: * Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems within test stations and networks * Interacts with users and evaluates system performance and trends * Assist users with debugging and resolving identified issues within their accounts * Responds to monitored alerts to quickly identify root cause and implement resolution * Assists with implementation of automated processes or function to improve daily operations as directed * Assists with implementation of the technical security technology and IT projects as directed * Collaborates in authoring system documentation and procedures * Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. * Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. * Deploys, manages, maintains, and supports Microsoft Windows in multi-user computer systems * Sustains operational uptime on Windows systems and provides daily support for hardware and software issues, data, recovery, system upgrades, software upgrades, and configuration issues * Implements Windows upgrades and Sustainment of Windows infrastructure (Windows 10, windows 7, Windows XP, Linux) on multiple networks to include group policy management, account creation, software troubleshooting, and active directory administration * Performs security hardening on systems using DoD STIGs and other best practice security guidelines Basic Qualifications: Must have one of the following: * Associate's degree or appropriate Military Occupational with a minimum of 8 years of IT experience * A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of IT experience * A Master's degree with a minimum of 4 year of IT experience * Must have a current U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance OR must have an inactive clearance within the past 5 years. * Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia Preferred Qualifications: * Demonstrates success in performing in a fast-paced depot/sustainment environment * Experience in managing classified and controlled information of data systems and networks * Knowledge of the NIST SP 800-171 Protecting Controlled Unclassified Information on Non Federal Information Systems. * Knowledge of the NIST SP 800-53 Security and Privacy Controls for Federal Information Systems. * Experience in administering Windows Server OS and Active Directory OU's * Basic Understanding of the Linux OS environment, Ubuntu, CentOS, and RHEL.
