Stockton Unified School District (SUSD) began providing services to students in 1852 and is located in the heart of California's Central Valley near the banks of the San Joaquin River. SUSD is the 17th largest school district in California, whereby 38,000 PK-12th grade students come to us to experience an academic journey that leads to high school graduation and success in college, careers, and as actively-engaged community members.

The District also serves a number of adults through our Stockton School For Adults. Requirements / Qualifications

Qualifications: Education and Experience: •Master's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university •Five (5) years of school site experience such as teaching, pupil personnel work or a combination of teaching and school services equal to five years •A minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience as a assistant principal or higher administrative position *Administrative/Supervisory Credential See job description for additional information. Application materials must include a letter of interest, a current resume, three (3) letters of recommendation (within the year), and copies of degrees/credentials.

License or Certificate: • Valid Teaching or PPS Credential • Valid Education Specialist Instructional Credential, valid Administrative or valid Supervisory Credential • Possession of a valid California driver's license • First Aid and CPR certificates must be obtained within sixty (60) days from the date of hire
