The Principal, Human Resources Business Partner will serve as an advisor to business leaders and their respective leadership teams. Additionally, the Human Resources Business Partner will provide a broad range of HR services including: coaching and employee development, talent management, change management, policy development, workforce planning & employee relations. The successful candidate will develop strong relationships with the leadership teams, and also with our global HR team, to help us achieve business results. The selected individual must be able to support programs, challenge the status-quo and develop creative solutions to business challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Represents the Global HR Function in providing full-service HR partnering support to assigned organizations.

  • Cultivates strong working relationships with client leadership team and employees.

  • Gains deep knowledge of corporate business practices, policies, organization structure, roles/responsibilities to fully understand business and industry dynamics.

  • Serves as program manager for HR initiatives in support of business objectives such as talent reviews, succession planning, on-boarding, mentoring, and development planning.

  • Supports various human resources functions, including compensation, benefits, training, and employee relations to provide strategic and tactical HR support to line managers

  • In-depth knowledge of legal requirements

  • Help manage and resolve complex employee relations issues

  • Conducts effective, objective, and thorough investigations

  • Provides day to day performance management guidance to management

  • Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation

  • Guides and provides input on business unit workforce planning and succession planning

  • Tracks retention and other metrics, providing analysis to management periodically

  • Keep clients of the company informed of policies and practices regarding human resources

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field and 7+ years related experience required

  • 5-7 years of proven HR experience to include time spent in a strategic HR Generalist role as well as cross functional HR positions

  • Experience within fast paced environments

  • Demonstrated success partnering with business clients and experience in developing and implementing change initiatives with a solid track record for delivering results

  • Effective coaching skills with a proven track record in quickly gaining credibility and partnering collaboratively with business leaders

  • Excellent consulting skills

  • Client management and business acumen skills

  • Strong verbal & written communication skills

  • Proven customer centric focus; Ability to influence culture, drive change and create alignment between business goals and behaviors that drive performance

  • Experience working autonomously, making sound judgments and providing appropriate recommendations within complex organizations

  • Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Results oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Strong written/oral communication skills, effective presentation and facilitation abilities

  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and remain current on the drivers to company performance, the industry, customer segments, the company value proposition and how the business retains competitive advantage in the marketplace

Position Overview The Human Resources (HR) Representative provides assistance with all human resource functions at this business location. The HR Representative carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas including but not limited to: recruiting/employment, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, training and development, benefits and compensation. Duties and Responsibilities * Prepares onboarding materials for new hires, coordinates pre-employment screenings and assists with orientation activities * Organizes employee engagement activities, conducts stay interviews and promotes our culture of inclusion * Updates and maintains employee records in HRIS; responsible for all HR transactions such as promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations for all hourly, non-exempt, and exempt employees. * Promotes our corporate wellness program, including health screenings, flu shots; coordinates annual benefits enrollment processes * Works closely with HR Manager to provide clear and concise communication of policies and procedures to ensure a customer driven environment. * Provides sound advice and counsel to management on employee relations matters; ensure employees and managers receive the appropriate counseling, guidance and support on employee relations issues * Supports managers with timekeeping and attendance programs to ensure payroll accuracy * Administers health and welfare programs including enrollments, changes and terminations.
