Department Description

The Oracle hardware development team in Burlington is responsible for the architecture, design, validation, and release of industry leading enterprise class, X86 and ARM based server products used in Oracle Engineered Systems and Cloud infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

This position is for an experienced hardware engineer with a background in power engineering to provide engineering support for Oracle rack power infrastructure.

Signal and power integrity circuit simulations and timing analysis, the development of lab test hardware and automating test procedures. Other responsibilities include developing validation testing strategies and procedures, review and analysis of supplier test data submitted as part of product release.

Support of deployed product is also an important responsibility, this includes troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex problems often without the failing hardware. This candidate will also provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
