Job Responsibilities:

• Assess risk in proposals and recommendations, and advise project managers and staff

• Direct and prepare proposals, investigations, and design level reports for a variety of projects.

• Direct and lead construction material testing services, including earthwork observation and special inspections

• Mentor and supervise junior geologists and foster their professional development.

• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and governmental personnel, ensuring that all geotechnical concerns are addressed comprehensively.

• Direct and supervise subsurface explorations, laboratory testing, geotechnical data interpretation, and geotechnical instrumentation monitoring programs to ensure a high-quality, timely, and within-budget delivery of the projects.

• Provide support for business development activities by fostering and maintaining long-term client relationships and developing a client base for providing high-level geotechnical engineering services.

• Play an active role in professional associations and contribute to the state-of-practice and research of engineering geology through technical presentations and publications.

Compensation:

$140K - $185K Annual Salary

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state's law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
