Job Description

The Principal Financial Analyst works closely with sales and marketing management, cost center managers, as well as other functional controllers within the Finance organization. Activities includes financial modelling associated with sales forecast, pricing analysis, sales commissions and incentives financial and management reporting, budget and planning process as well as supporting corporate finance initiatives.

Job Functions:

• Lead financial planning and processes related to Sales and Marketing organization, including the month-end close, periodic forecast and annual plan

• Manage Sales Commissions and Sales Incentives process

• Manage and/or perform all monthly close and provide variance analysis

• Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance

• Develop management reports & presentations for the department

• Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecast

• Develop and maintain ad hoc analysis as required

Skills/Abilities:

• Strong business analysis and Excel modelling, accounting and financial applications software: Hyperion Financial Management and SAP planning experience/knowledge preferred

• Semiconductor Industry knowledge preferred, using updates and trend analysis to advance the organization

• Ability to effectively communicate across all levels in the business

Qualifications

Experience and Education

Minimum 8+ years of finance and accounting experience with progressive responsibilities

Bachelor's degree in business, finance or other related area; MBA preferred

Semiconductor experience a plus

Financial system experience a plus

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $87,600 - $167,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
