CT Corp (CT), the largest division of GRC, is our expert information services business for the large corporation, small business, and law firm markets. This group specializes in incorporation and legal business compliance solutions. We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to support our digital transformation journey. You will have overall architectural ownership of the digital transformation solution architecture and will detail and complete the target architecture vision so that it fulfills the needs of the business. You will work with all the key stakeholders of the program including domain specialists, architects, product owners and senior management and manage the change toward the new target architecture. Your success will be measured by the value you create, not the number of people you manage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and execute an IT systems architecture blueprint to support the company's business strategy, including recommendations for development and delivery of technology stacks, interoperability, microservices, and hosting strategies

  • Produce and maintain artifacts for CT's enterprise architecture, including reference architecture diagrams, architectural guidelines, and reference implementations of services

  • Drive the successful adoption of the architecture with development teams, operations teams and back office teams

  • Innovate, improve and deprecate areas of the architecture while driving implementation and helping to ensure the projected business benefits are realized

  • Formulate architecture strategies and transition architectures that will illustrate how the proposed architecture will evolve to satisfy the needs and concerns of cross-functional stakeholders from delivery teams, business and product owners, infrastructure to security partners.

  • Guide delivery teams on choice of appropriate technologies, standards adherence and process to obtain approval for deviations

  • Formulate and develop recurring architecture patterns in commonly re-useable assets

  • Participate in reviews of the project solution architecture by identifying opportunities and recommendations to optimize or enhance product delivery offerings.

  • Participate in implementation planning, project planning and project coordination in conjunction with the project managers

  • Regularly communicate vision, plans and results to stakeholders

  • Act as an advisor to senior management on technology strategy and as an internal consultant for technology and business process projects

  • Collect, generate, and analyze innovative ideas and technologies to use across the business

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of ten years of progressive architecture or related experience along with extensive hardware and software knowledge of web-based systems; preferably within a large global, matrixed organization

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience

  • Technology expertise in cloud computing, network, IT infrastructure and modern service & application architectures

  • Experience with any of Azure, Salesforce, BPM/Pega, SAP, DMS/Alfresco, and security frameworks like SOC, ISO 27001/2, and GDPR

  • Strong understanding of Agile Scrum and DevSecOps, along with knowledge of solution governance frameworks such as TOGAF

Knowledge and skills * Understands business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state), and determines corresponding data requirements and change requirements to drive the organization's targeted business outcomes. * A comprehensive understanding of regulated environments, systems security and privacy. * Has a comprehensive understanding of contemporary database and analytics platforms including Hadoop, AWS EMR, Azure HDInsight, Mongo, Tableau and Talend. * Has experience of a "digital business" and direct experience of Agile and Devops delivery. * Has experience with large public cloud providers such as Azure, AWS or GCP including their PaaS services. * An appreciation of emerging technology themes such as AI/ML, IoT, Blockchain and RPA. * A reputation for personal innovation and in creating environments where others can innovate. * Able to operate at scale and with senior stake holders. * Working collaboratively with peers from all divisions across MMC, able to lead discussions, build consensus and encourage adoption. * A comprehensive understanding of regulated environments, systems security and privacy. * Has a delivery focused approach. * A lifelong learner with an appetite for change.
