On this team, you'll work with world class AI developers, Software Engineers and Data Scientists to develop a new Azure Cognitive Service that enables the next level of content understanding.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Software Development experience building product quality software

  • At least 3 years of people management experience.

  • Demonstrated success growing junior engineers through mentoring, collaboration and coaching

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required.

  • Strong experience in C#, C++ and Python

  • Strong skills in building cloud services.

  • Strong design and coding skills with the ability to pick up new languages, tools and design patterns as needed

  • Experience with containers/ Kubernetes, Linux containers etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively both autonomously and in teams

  • Customer focus: comfortable communicating with customers through blogs, twitter, etc. Seek out and respond to feedback through various mediums

  • Experience with .net and java service development is a plus
