Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Engineer. This position will be located in Ogden, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.

Essential Functions:

  • Program requirements development to define tools and processes, establishment of architectures and overseeing tool deployment towards program operations stand up.

  • Scope covers developing Infrastructure and Tools, cyber security of program environment across sites, tool testing and tool administrative work.

  • Projects require maintaining technical integration, cost, schedule and support organization impacts associated with each unique project.

  • Strong skills are necessary to coordinate with leadership and customers as well as the internal Integrated Product Teams (IPT)s.

  • Project Engineering will drive change execution between Engineering, Global Supply Chain and Production to completion and present status and issues to Program Leadership.

  • The environment is very dynamic and requires an individual to find solutions and share with colleagues.

  • The position is for an individual that enjoys a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and one who excels working in a collaborative/team setting

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Candidate will have a technical knowledge and practice in Computer Networking or Cyber Security.

  • Candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead multiple projects and meet defined schedule commitments.

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in a S.T.E.M.(Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) field with a minimum of 5 years of Engineering experience or Master's Degree in a S.T.E.M.(Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) field and 3 years of Engineering experience.

  • Must have an active in scope DoD Secret Clearance upon hire
