Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Engineer. This position will be located in Ogden, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.
Program requirements development to define tools and processes, establishment of architectures and overseeing tool deployment towards program operations stand up.
Scope covers developing Infrastructure and Tools, cyber security of program environment across sites, tool testing and tool administrative work.
Projects require maintaining technical integration, cost, schedule and support organization impacts associated with each unique project.
Strong skills are necessary to coordinate with leadership and customers as well as the internal Integrated Product Teams (IPT)s.
Project Engineering will drive change execution between Engineering, Global Supply Chain and Production to completion and present status and issues to Program Leadership.
The environment is very dynamic and requires an individual to find solutions and share with colleagues.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Candidate will have a technical knowledge and practice in Computer Networking or Cyber Security.
Candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead multiple projects and meet defined schedule commitments.
Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in a S.T.E.M.(Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) field with a minimum of 5 years of Engineering experience or Master's Degree in a S.T.E.M.(Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) field and 3 years of Engineering experience.
Must have an active in scope DoD Secret Clearance upon hire
