Pursuant to Section 20 C.F.R. 656.10(d)(ii), this notice is being provided as a result of the filing of an Application for Permanent Employment Certification for the following position:

Principal Engineer Systems Engineering (full-time, one position)

TRW Automotive seeks in Farmington Hills, MI to serve as lead system engineer for application team. Assist with overall design, verification, and release processes associated with ECU product development.

Communicate with customer to understand system requirements. Lead development of system production specs, system architecture design, electronic circuit schematics, and assembly drawings. Coordinate with manufacturing team to perform prototype and trial builds.

Perform engineering simulations and bench tests, coordinate with validation team to schedule appropriate level of testing, and analyze test failures to determine root cause. Must have Master's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field, plus two years automotive engineering experience. One of the two years must include experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, and CANoe.

In lieu of the above education and experience requirements, we will accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field, plus five years progressive post-bachelor's automotive engineering experience. One of the five years must include experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, and CANoe. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.

All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel may be required, to be reimbursed by employer. Resumes to; Ref: FLG263; EOE; $108,680.00/yr; 8AM to 5PM, M-F, 40 hrs/wk.
