If so, we are searching for our next Principal Engineer who will establish and help in building a proven architectural environment! Our team builds, adapts, or revises detailed schematics, hardware and software selections, and implementation techniques to improve security posture and processes. We perform, evaluate, and interpret network simulation, test results, and groundbreaking technology studies related to cybersecurity standard processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Connects business strategies to technology domains for delivery, using well-defined structure of T-Mobile business processes, products and capabilities.

  • Captures the tactical and strategic enterprise goals that provide traceability through the organization and are mapped to metrics that provide ongoing governance.

  • Advises effort to define architecture standards that are aligned with business goals, IT strategy and enterprise architecture visions.

  • Supports enterprise architectural efforts, using multi-functional knowledge (strategy, organizational change and business process management).

  • Monitors technological advancements ensuring solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and company standards as well as emerging business requirements.

  • Enables consistent definition and composition of scope by domain product, process, experience or capability.

  • Identifies impacts and opposing interests in area of domain expertise.

  • Provides overall direction, mentorship and definition of architecture to effectively support business strategy.

  • Applies and uses business modeling methods to ensure results oriented work in a way that can be recreated and used as a corporate knowledge resource available to project level initiatives and executive decision making.

  • Leads design & delivery of Enterprise applications, database, storage, distributed computing, virtualization and/or application technology.

  • Supports definition & delivery of Cloud and digital technology strategies.

  • Aligns information security/cyber security to designs/solutions.

  • Applies innovative approaches to sophisticated design problems (federated identity, sophisticated event processing, embedded real-time monitoring, etc.).

  • Presents information on projects, initiatives or other subjects to peers, teams and upper management.

  • Provides ongoing reconciliation between long-term goals and short-term actions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 7-10 years Technical engineering experience

  • Experience with high level design architecture, security technologies, networking, web services.

  • Authority in all facets of RAN & OSS network security, including access management, Firewall policy design, SSL Certificate management, vulnerability analysis & mitigation, and other topics as assigned.

  • Focus: Ability to develop and communicate goals in support of the business' mission.

  • Drive: Self-motivated and able to work under pressure with minimal direction - including simultaneously supporting multiple strategically significant tasks under fixed/accelerated deadlines.

  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with others on a team. Develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships that can provide information, assistance, and support.

  • Communication: Ability to ensure that information is passed on to others. Express self clearly in conversations and interactions with others. Clear business and technical writing skills. Plan and deliver oral and written communications that make an impact and persuade their intended audiences.

  • Customer Focus: Able to demonstrate concern and meet external and/or internal customers' needs.

  • Analytical: Address a problem by using a logical, detailed, sequential approach.

  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate depth of knowledge and skill in a technical area.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Computer Science

Licenses and Certifications:

  • CISSP and/or CCSK and/or CCSP and/or CISA/CISM certification a plus
