GCS is GCP's largest storage product and a significant contributor to GCP's business.

The Storage Infrastructure (SI) team is tasked with Durability, Efficiency, Data Management, and Capacity planning responsibilities for GCS. As the Principal Engineer for SI, you will be responsible for key aspects of technical direction and innovation strategy for GCS, with direct impact over critical business objectives. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $271,000-$399,000 bonus equity benefits.

Responsibilities Provide the technical outlook and strategy for initiatives and projects in this domain. Design and lead a multi-year technical roadmap, balancing short and long-term technology investments. Develop product roadmap for GCS with Product Managers, Engineering, and other cross-functional partners.
