Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Electronics Engineer (Field Support- Network Communications) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is in support of our Avionics Integration West organization.
The selected candidate will undergo training in Rancho Bernardo, CA, Palmdale, CA, Jacksonville, FL or a combination of the above-mentioned locations with a final assignment location on Whidbey Island, Washington for a minimum of two years.
Telework is not permitted.
As a Principal Electronics Engineer (Field Support- Network Communications), you will play a critical role in the field integrating, deploying, and troubleshooting of electronic systems and solutions that keep our world safe. This includes the testing, analyzing of various electronic equipment and systems (including Line of Sight (LOS) and Beyond Line of Sight Communications (BLOS), Data Links, SATCOM, UHF Radios, and other RF communications), various networking equipment, and control and test equipment.
The selected candidate must be able to apply engineering principles and techniques to provide support to the Mission Systems Integration Product Team (IPT) in the integration, test and delivery of Communications and Networking systems.

Salary Range: $92,600.00 - $160,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
