Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Principal EMI/EMC Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.

The Principal EMI/EMC Engineer will assist the lead EMI/EMC engineer responsible for the complete compliance process including technical, cost, and schedule performance.

Essential Functions:

  • Review and tailor EMI/EMC requirements to meet specified product performance for all aspects of Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) compliance, including EMI/EMC/EME/ESD/EMP and lightning.

  • Review EMI test procedures and EMI test reports

  • Witness MIL-STD-461 Tests

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 5 years of software engineering experience OR-

  • Master's Degree in STEM and 3 years of experience OR

  • PhD in STEM and 0 years of experience

  • Must have an Active In-scope DoD Secret Security Clearance that has been granted / renewed within the past 5 years

  • The Ability to obtain additional Special Access Program (SAP) clearance before establishing a start date (contingency)

  • Experience with MIL-STD-464 or MIL-STD-461

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of EMI / EMC testing

  • Knowledge of EMI / EMC analysis software

  • Previous EMI / EMC design leadership experience

  • iNARTE certification

Northrop Grumman Aeronautic Systems has an opening for a Principal Cyber Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne FL. This position is for a Lab Operations Cyber Info Assurance Analyst supporting 3rd shift in Melbourne, Florida. Initial training will take place on either first or second shift. Once training is complete and 3rd shift is fully scheduled the selected candidate will transfer to 3rd shift support. This position will entail maintaining smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space. Essential Functions: * Maintain availability of Test Station and Software Development Environment * Collecting and reporting system data metrics * Ensure systems adhere to program configuration and data management plans * Providing software maintenance and installing software upgrades and patches * Ensure Lab Operations Policy and Procedures as being executed and updated (E0-7409 and Lab Ops Standard Operating Procedures) Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 5 years of cyber and/or systems administration experience OR Master's Degree in a STEM discipline 3 years of cyber and/or systems administration experience * This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs * Current DoD 8570 Level 2 Certification, such as Security CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, or CYSA * Systems Administration experience, to include Windows, Linux, and VM environments Preferred Qualifications: * Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred * Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 3 years of professional experience * Previous cybersecurity, Information Assurance experience, and/or system administration experience * Active Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification * VMware environment experience and certification * At least 5 years of systems administration experience, to include Windows, Linux, and VM environments * Understanding of enterprise-level computing platforms involving virtualization, distribution and high availability * Experience implementing storage allocation, reclamation, replication and migration * Experience operating and configuring Splunk, Tenable, and various storage systems VNX/Unity/XTREMIO * Hands-on configuration, management and design VMware Horizon Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
