Opportunities currently exist within Radar and Communication Products department of Hardware Engineering Center (HWEC). The department provides products sustainment engineering, Radar systems integration test, Special Test Solution design, Antenna measurements (NF, FF indoor/outdoor, & Compact ranges), and RF subsystems tests for S3 and EWS mission areas. This position is for Raytheon's Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) facility in Forest, MS.
The engineer will work with team of engineers to develop test processes, special test equipment, analysis tools and test requirements for Antenna measurement systems.
Responsibilities may include:
Antenna Subsystem and Array performance Analysis, Electromagnetic Analysis, Array Calibration and Integration and Test.
Development of IV&V plans, procedures and reports.
Perform root cause analysis and resolution of test failures.
Collaborate with other groups to ensure product under test meets design and performance requirements.
Participate in internal design and development review of Hardware and test environment.
8+ years of relevant experience in design or testing of antenna or radar systems.
BS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Math, or equivalent discipline or MS in the same disciplines with 3+ years relevant work experience.
Proven experience in testing, troubleshooting and performing failure analysis on RF/MW Products.
Must have experience with either one of these electromagnetic simulation tools (HFSS, CST, ADS) and extensive use of MATLAB.
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain Secret Clearance within first year of employment are required.
General knowledge of systems engineering and integration processes for Radar and Electronic Warfare Systems.
Experience in Nearfield and Far-field ranges Antenna measurement and analysis.
Strong skills and experience performing analysis of technical data.
Experience with RF network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
Excellent communication skills including report writing and presentations.
A MS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline 113734
