Microsoft Economics is a team of technical and impact driven research economists and data scientists that support various groups across Microsoft. It is led by Microsoft's CVP, Chief Economist (Michael Schwarz) and is part of the AI&R organization. All members work across the company on high-impact projects related, but not limited to: pricing, search auctions, causal inference, machine learning prediction and market design. We are seeking a data science leader to manage a team, provide strategic, technical and financial insights, and collaborate partners across Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance and broader AI&R.

Required

  • Engineering/Technology Background (Academic and/or Experience)
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field

Preferred

  • Management experience

  • High strategic, quantitative, financial, and business acumen

  • Highly collaborative and teamwork oriented

  • Able to lead and succeed in ambiguous environment
