Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, Space Division, is seeking a Principal Contracts Administrator 3 for Redondo Beach, CA location.

The selected candidate will perform the full range of life cycle contract administration duties; their primary role will be to perform contract execution tasks. The successful candidate must demonstrate an enthusiasm for learning new tools and processes, as well as a willingness to share knowledge with colleagues, peers, and counterparts.

The selected candidate will have opportunities to interface with all levels of senior management, various functions, and customer counterparts, including Program Management, Business Management, Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads, Global Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Cost Management, and proposal teams, to perform the Contracts Administration responsibilities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts

  • Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications

  • Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years experience in a Contract Administration/Business Management or 4 years with Master's

  • Familiarity with U. S. Government procurement regulations (FAR/DFAR)

  • MS Office knowledge (word, excel)

  • Candidate must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 years, OR must be able to maintain an active U.S. Government SCI access with a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with U.S Government contracts

  • Exposure to Aerospace Industry and Defense Acquisition programs

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Sector is seeking Senior Principal Program Cost Control Analyst on our Space Systems Division Cost Management team in Redondo Beach, CA. The Senior Principal Program Cost Control Analyst will report to the Manager of Project Controls and will be responsible for supporting Northrop Grumman Corporation Aerospace System (NGAS) programs in compliance with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements and program implementation. This role requires the candidate to have an active Top Secret and/or SSBI/SCI Clearance Responsibilities include but not limited to: * Set up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on Contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system * Maintain Earned Value Management System (EVMS) compliance including cost/schedule integration * Perform analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines * Prepare and maintain spend plans; develop and review Estimates at Complete (EACs); incorporate changes into the EVMS system in order to maintain cost and schedule baselines * Assist Control Account Managers (CAMs) with EVMS activities including: Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development and alignment; time-phasing of tasks; developing and documenting earned value methodologies; performance measurement; estimate to complete analysis and updates and variance analysis research and reporting * Create financial charts in support of program management and program reviews; identify cost impacts and develop recovery plans as required * Responsible for actuals reconciliation, budget change requests and ensuring proper accounting * Incorporate contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines SOUTHBAYJOB Basic Qualifications: * An active TS and/or SSBI/SCI Clearance is required * Bachelor's Degree with 10 years' experience in Business Finance, or Accounting or a Master's Degree with 8 years of said experience * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint * Working experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) Preferred Qualifications: * Proficiency of the following systems or software: Micro-Frame Program Manager (MPM) or similar project management software, wInsight, SAP Management Project Systems Module and Business Warehouse (BW) Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
