The Principal Consultant will coach and mentor consultants on the Higher Education team, engage directly in client billable work, and play a solution engineer role for Higher Education opportunities. Successful candidates in this role will have experience successfully leading engagements and projects as a consultant, have an aptitude for mentoring teams of consultants, and have a knack for selling a Salesforce platform solution by engaging in sales discovery, demos, solution visioning and speaking the language of higher education.
Location preference is Twin Cities but open to the right remote candidate.

Accountabilities
Project Delivery 60%
Maintain engagement delivery standards aligned with Redpath Core Processes
Consistently adhere to the Redpath Core Process and provide feedback towards continued refinement
Serve as a coach and mentor of the Redpath Core Processes to all consultants and developers
Lead medium to large sized projects
As a project lead, collaborate with/support project manager to identify timeline and tasks
As a project lead, estimate user stories and schedule into sprints
As a project lead delegate tasks to team members
Collaborate with and lead project team members through solutioning to identify the best design for a client.
As a project lead, collaborate with a project manager to ensure on-time, on budget, and in scope delivery
Delegate to and collaborate with architects, developers and consultants
Achieve an individual client billable utilization target (60%)
Project Oversight 10%
Provide mentorship and coaching to higher education team members
Provide ongoing training and enablement to the Higher Education team consultants
Coach team members to provide sound and scalable solutions & excellent service to Redpath's clients
Provide oversight on Higher Education projects to ensure adherence to Redpath Project Core Processes, great client experience, and sound technical designs
Model Repath values and actively strive to promote a connected and engaged team
Practice Development & GTM Support 30%
Support highlighting Redpath's value proposition to prospects and elicit requirements from prospect stakeholders to scope custom Salesforce solutions
Provide sales solution engineering and estimation support by developing technical solutions for a prospect from industry knowledge and prospective client discovery calls
Act as a thought leader for the practice area by writing blog posts, speaking at events, and leading Redpath webinars

Qualifications
Required
Deep experience in Higher Education with the ability to speak to both functional and technical business requirements
Experience delivering Salesforce solutions in an agile environment
Motivated self-starter, capable of working independently
Salesforce Consulting experience
Experience with Salesforce EDA (Education Data Architecture)
Solid understanding of Salesforce.com platform and cloud architecture
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Available to travel occasionally
Salesforce Certified Administrator
Sales, Service, Education, or Experience Cloud Salesforce Consultant certification or ability to gain within 90 days
Must be able to communicate technical information clearly, able to 'translate' between diverse groups of technical and non-technical individuals
Excellent presentation skills
Interest in a future management role
Preferred
BA/BS or equivalent experience
4+ years Salesforce consulting experience
Higher Education Industry functional and technical experience
Experience estimating Salesforce work
Certified Education Cloud Consultant
Certified Sales or Service Cloud Consultant
Certified Experience Cloud Consultant
Marketing Cloud experience
Project management experience
Experience in Exec Ed, Continuing Ed, Online Ed, Business Schools, Corporate Partnerships, Tech Transfer, or Advancement
