Northrop Grumman is in need of a Principal/Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, California.

This position will focus heavily on Document Control and Data Management. The Configuration Analyst will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining the processes for all engineering documents going through the Document Control and Release process.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate and coordinates preparation, processing, and release of engineering documentation through the release process.

  • Requires meticulous attention to detail while maintaining control over all documents in flow.

  • Able to audit processes, procedures, engineering documents, and communicate effectively and clearly with document originators.

  • Train all new users and provide regular training to the different IPTs processing document changes. Ensure all documents are updated in accordance with Sector and Program procedures and maintained current (within 3 years or less).

  • Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.

  • This requisition may be filled at either a Principal or Sr. Principal level*

Basic Qualifications for Principal Configuration Analyst:

  • Bachelors degree with 6 years of experience OR Masters degree with 4 years of experience

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance with Special Program Access prior to start

Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst:

  • Bachelors degree with 10 years of experience OR Masters degree with 8 years of experience

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance with Special Program Access prior to start

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 years of direct configuration management experience

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Quality Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA. The responsibilities include: * Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. * Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. * Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems. * Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. * Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met. * Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree and 6 years' experience in quality; OR Master's degree and 4 years' experience in quality; OR 10 years' experience in quality in lieu of a degree * Technical Presentation Skills * Willing to work 2nd shift from "4:12 pm - 2:42 am," 4 days per week. * Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office tools (Power Point, Word, Excel, Outlook) * Knowledge of manufacturing processes as defined in process specifications * Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher that was granted/renewed within the last 5 years Preferred Qualifications: * Auditing experience * 6 years' experience in Aerospace Quality Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
