Job Description:

The Principal Cloud Success Manager is an evangelist who uses their experience in solutions delivery to help customers migrate to Citrix Cloud. This role is primarily focused on understanding existing Enterprise customer's current on-premise deployments and then helping to guide them to implement their transition to Citrix Cloud.

A strong understanding of Citrix technologies and current direction of industry is a pre-requisite for this role. Excellent communication skills and experience working in a post-sales and/or pre-sales capacity are vital. Broad industry knowledge and certifications in complementary skills and technologies are assumed.

Responsibilities:

The primary duties for the position include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in nurturing long-term relationship with key decision makers including C-levels in assigned accounts and developing business value propositions for Citrix Cloud customers.

  • Understand customer's business strategies and apply our proven Customer Success methodology to lead them through all phases of the implementation journey, with a focus on adoption and customer outcomes.

  • Facilitate relationships between business and technical teams, identifying business drivers and processes, understanding user-centric design, and providing technical expertise related to Citrix products and the customer's technology environment

  • Coordinate and drive technical interaction between customers and Citrix Product Management, including via quarterly briefings (QBRs), executive briefings (EBCs).

  • Solid understanding of Citrix domain, competitive technologies (VMware, F5) and how to position to "win".

  • Conveys the Citrix vision in terms that are clear and relevant to the customer's business objectives.

  • Enables the customer to see how a Professional Services and/or Cloud Success engagement will directly lead to their success.

  • Plans and designs packaged solutions that are appropriate to multiple customers and tailors existing packages to meet region specific requirements.

  • Supports active product motions in customer accounts and provides technical expertise to guide the customer through Cloud migration.

  • Leading designs workshop focus on end user journey mapping.

  • Provides internal technical "thought leadership" and assists with the development of new leading practices.

  • Acts as a post-sales technical expert.

  • Provide timely, meaningful, and detailed feedback into the Product and Engineering teams on product requirements.

  • Aid customers with Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Analysis with respect to Citrix Cloud deployments.

  • Advise customers on business process enhancements based on best practices, business knowledge, and visibility into current vs. future state product capabilities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, computer science, or engineering preferred.

  • Fluent in English.

  • 10+ years of vendor led consulting field experience or equivalent architect role in the networking area and virtualization technologies preferred.

  • Extensive practical networking knowledge across routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancing as well as general enterprise networking trends.

  • Outstanding personal track record building business-to-business relationships.

  • Extensive track record implementing large or complex solutions using Citrix Virtual Apps and Citrix Virtual Desktops are a plus.

  • Strong technical depth with a significant focus on Citrix products and technologies.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability and confidence to present to executives.

  • Demonstrated technical and delivery expertise to meet deadlines and create effective deliverables.

  • Established and proven expertise in complex, client-centered technical migration.

  • Sound business judgment, and proven ability to influence others.

  • Effectively multitask between initiatives with minimal oversight.

  • Possess an ability to think out of the box to help create new business processes, positioning statements, product enhancements, and technical tools to aid Cloud migrations.

  • Ability to manage multiple long-term projects with the context of a dynamic environment.

  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Citrix has a Cloud Success Development program, which is a 3-month training and development program for recent college graduates looking to grow their career in the field of Cloud Success. If you would like to make a difference in your career and be part of a special team, join Citrix as a Cloud Success Associate.
The Cloud Success Associate position is an entry-level position within the Cloud Success organization and is for people who have an interest in Cloud technologies, SaaS offerings and ensuring customers can achieve their desired business outcomes. Upon hiring, you will immediately begin a specialized training program where you will learn about Citrix product technologies, develop leadership skills, and begin to learn about the how Citrix Cloud customers leverage a Cloud Success methodology. This training program will be based out of Raleigh, North Carolina and instructor-led training will be completed in Citrix's corporate Ft Lauderdale Florida office. During training you will spend time in the office studying for technical certification exams, shadow customer projects, and conduct analysis to support the Cloud Success organization. Upon completion of training, you will join the Cloud Success team as a Cloud Success Manager. A Cloud Success Manager must be able to solve problems proactively and seek help from more experienced team members when necessary and be a team player that seeks to supplement their skills through the use of project experience, self-study materials, and point of need training. Job Responsibilities: * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Obtain certifications in Citrix technologies during first 4-6 months. * Develop a technical sales foundation with agood understanding of the Citrix Sales Methodology and Consultative Selling program. * Develop a technical understanding of the components of the Citrix product portfolio and how to install them. * Learn key technical concepts around desktop and server virtualization, cloud computing, server-based computing, and network/systems architectures. * Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills, whereby individual do research prior to seeking help from others. * Supplement their initial training through project experience, self-study materials, and point of need training. * Establish basic Cloud Success-client relationships while engaged on customer facing as well as internal projects. * Conduct product demonstrations and presentations under the supervision of experienced resources. * Develop time management skills and the ability to multi-task across multiple assignments. * Demonstrate the ability to effectively network across multiple functional areas in an organization.
