Job Description:

The Principal Business Strategist supports and executes analysis, research, and solution development to assist executive leadership in setting the business strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of business economics, valuation methodologies, and the ability to identify growth opportunities.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates expertise in business economics and understanding valuation methodologies.

• Identifies growth opportunities and facilitates cross-business unit initiatives.

• Evaluates and conducts financial modeling of potential partnerships, joint ventures, and business opportunities.

• Monitors medium to long-term business trends/outlooks and gathers competitive intelligence.

• Collaborates with multiple internal teams (finance, risk management, marketing, supply chain, technology) to deliver results.

• Provides leadership within a team environment and can work independently on analysis and research projects.

• Leverages strong financial analysis and modeling skills to interpret complex data into alternate futures.

• Evaluates competitive and industry dynamics using research skills.

• Applies standard strategy frameworks and analysis.

• Integrates both financial and strategic analysis into a synthesized set of hypotheses and conclusions.

• Presents hypotheses, conclusions, and recommendations to senior management.

• Assists in preparing and reviewing executive-level materials with acute attention to detail and accuracy.

Job Contribution:

• Works on diverse issues where analysis of industry trends and competitive dynamics requires evaluation of various factors and potential outcomes.

• Displays a strong executive presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Recognized as a strategy leader across the associates with an excellent understanding of market conditions and the competitive landscape.

Education & Experience:

• Typically requires a Masters degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Typically 5-10 years of experience in a related field.

• Prior experience in Corporate Strategy or Corporate Development is a plus.

$128,400.00 - $215,800.00
