We are looking for a Principal Business Program Manager for the Microsoft Threat Protection (MTP) executive office to join us on our mission of making the world safer and more productive for all. This Business Program Manager will lead centralized customer and partner engagement, product and business planning process, drive D&I and culture initiatives and strategic initiatives. This role will collaborate with our MTP Chief of Staff, the broader team and cross-functional partners to help define core customer value, ensure our growth manage the business, and help bring feedback back to the team to drive further refinement and innovation. They will be a results-oriented and data-driven individual who has the horsepower to solve complex problems; an owner and does what it takes to make our team successful; partners effectively across disciplines and levels; has high standards; are customer obsessed; and operate well in an ambiguous environment. Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 8+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement

o OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated history of operations and program management expertise with a proven ability to influence and inspire technical peers.

  • Experience working with a globally distributed workforce.

Business Program Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $124,800 - $266,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $159,000 - $292,200 per year.

  • Customer and Partner Engagement
  • Develops and drives strategic engagement model with customers and partners across our extended leadership team. Partners with the Chief of staff to ensure successful preparation, execution, and follow up. Manages annual, quarterly and major milestone rhythms in collaboration with leadership and account teams to maintain regular connectivity and executive sponsorship support.
  • Planning & cross-org ROB- Lead the alignment of org-wide planning process in partnership with planning/PM leadership across MTP. Help support cross-org ROB, projects and initiatives.

  • Culture & Community management

  • Create and manage org-wide programs, including but not limited to local hackathon, management excellence, org awards, rotation programs. Drive D&I initiatives and events at the MTP org level, partnering closely with local D&I teams, HR, and ERG communities to execute on our diversity and cultural goals.
  • Business Integration
  • Drive strategic initiatives and provide thought leadership.  Identify issues that impede business group success and provide solutions/recommendations.  Identify opportunities to create cross group collaboration and synergies.  Demonstrate discretion and professionalism when working with leadership team on sensitive business and organizational issues, manage ambiguity and propose workable solutions to challenging problems.
  • Business Partner Relationships
  • Establishes and maintains key partnerships with internal teams (e.g., GTM, Human Resources, Marketing, Sales, Business Development, etc.). Manages and cultivates relationships with leaders of internal teams. Acts as an advisor to leadership, leveraging breadth of relationships, program management skillset, organizational context, and market awareness on strategic business decisions.
