Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

Project Kuiper is seeking a talented, self-directed partner marketing leader to drive demand generation and opportunities for our consumer service via the 1P (internal Amazon, and website) and 3P partnership marketing programs. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting, fast-growing business to drive the growth of our online sales channels. Reporting to the B2C Global Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for guiding our 1P and 3P marketing strategies and execution. The success candidate will also drive acquisition enablement strategies with other Amazon businesses. In this role, you will partner with Consumer Business Operations and Go-to-Market (GTM) teams, key stakeholders from marketing, and business development teams, to build a unified plan across functions that will deliver our joint business objectives. The ideal candidate for this role has a unique ability to take a diverse, complex range of business inputs and verticals, and translate them into a clear vision and marketing strategy.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to drive sales growth via Amazon's online and third-party sellers.

  • Utilize data analytics and research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the e-commerce landscape, tailoring strategies to meet business objectives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, supply chain, and customer service, to ensure a seamless and customer-centric online (website and app) shopping experience.

  • Partner with the UX/UI teams to continuously improve the online (website and app) buy flow experience and consumer journey.

  • Lead 3P retail marketing activations (such as in-store demos, retail promotions, retail collateral)

  • Lead "Better Together" pan-Amazon marketing partnerships

  • Foster high impact partnerships driving revenue, service adoption and strategic outcomes for Kuiper

  • Drive coordination and alignment with the regional service management team at the global and local level to ensure the consumer acquisition strategy with partners aligns and amplifies the marketing and operations priorities.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Intelligence teams to monitor and report on key partner marketing performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed targets.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities, leveraging insights to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Seek out and partner with third-party to allow Project Kuiper to reach prospective customers in new and innovative ways.

A day in the life

The Sr B2C Partnership Marketing Manager, Project Kuiper is a highly visible, high impact role on the Kuiper B2C Marketing team. They will thrive by working with large, cross functional teams inside and outside of Amazon while working directly with our largest and most demanding customers. This marketer will enjoy creating clarity and transparency in ambiguous situations, and enjoy the end-to-end ownership over consumer and technical narrative.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS in business, communications, telecommunications, satellite connectivity, and to mirror your org. He may want to mull over your organization. Engineering or marketing or related discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Marketing Leader 7+ years of experience

  • 3+ experience in leadership role

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree preferred

  • 10+ years of B2C Marketing experience with some partnership marketing emphasis

  • 10+ years of marketing experience in a technology company.

  • Experience developing and implementing external engagement programs.

  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to influence teams and individuals; Ability to lead multi-stakeholder groups and effectively utilize resources and relationships to drive results

  • Experience running high-profile campaigns across a diverse range of channels, and within a rapidly evolving business environment - you have implemented game changing ideas that have changed the course of businesses and brands

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $113,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
