About the Team:

We are a Process Automation Team in Card Risk with explicit focus on Process Automation utilizing technologies/concepts including but not limited to Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Instabase and Python. This team supports Card Risk by delivering state of the art, modern solutions while Automating processes saving hours spent on manual and repetitive tasks.

The Role:

Our team is selectively recruiting a high energy, forward-thinking resource to help facilitate delivery on our Intelligent Automation agenda. You will be partnering with a team of highly motivated individuals, peers and business customers designing, modifying and implementing high quality solutions to real world opportunities. You will be expected to own the use case backlog and incorporate industry standards to further enhance the efficiencies.

We are seeking dedicated, disciplined, technically curious professionals who excel in a team environment and can strengthen a high-performing team through mentoring, design reviews and personal example. This person will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and will have the ability to adapt to change quickly. The ability to influence up is key to success in this position.

Responsibilities:

Technology

  • Research and bring forward the appropriate RPA techniques and methodologies to apply to the manual business process to be automated

  • Own the delivery, craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of the solutions delivered by the team

  • Conform the delivery of the products to be at minimum of both Internal and Industry standards

  • Own full lifecycle implementation of the automation projects (including building prototypes, campaigning and gathering of intent)

Domain

  • Contribute to the overall strategy and goal development of team members as well as the automation product

  • Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends and best practices for the team: enable experiments and challenges to learn new technologies, participate in community of practice groups, and mentor other members of the RPA and Machine Learning communities

  • Collaborate with multiple internal functions in the areas of infrastructure, technical operations, software engineering and customer support

  • Act as a thought leader and advocate of Intelligent Process Automation technology in partnership with other technology groups

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in Process Management or Risk Management

  • At least 3 years of configuration experience in RPA tools (Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UIPath or WorkFusion)

  • At least 3 year of experience working in an Agile process OR at last 3 years of experience working in a Kanban process

  • At least 3 years of experience in a software development OR at least 3 years of experience in software development testing OR at least 3 years of experience in automation role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in scripting languages (Python, Perl, Shell, SQL)

  • 3+ years of experience developing web-based solutions using HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, .NET, or SQL

  • 2+ years of experience configuring environments within Amazon Web Services

Principal Associate, Card Risk Process Management & Analytics We are in the early stages of a digital transformation as we build the future of process and monitoring analytics across US Card. As such, we are seeking to add talented team members to support US Card Risks most critical initiatives. The Role: Card Risk is seeking to add a high performing member with skills performing analysis across broad domain. Our successful candidate will be asked to sift through data and insights to allow our company to make the best decision possible. You may be asked to use your skills to identify areas where performance and processes can be improved, while offering suggestions on how strategies to fulfill might need to change to stay competitive. Besides performing analytics, the team member may be tasked with developing executive level reporting which highlights performance and presents actionable direction for improving key process performance. You will have the opportunity to take part in conversations with internal and external partners (e.g., risk managers, compliance and credit policy advisors, business teams etc.), dive deep into processes to understand performance, connect the dots across processes and drive improvement through your insights.
