Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

We are in search of a highly-skilled Java developer to be an instrumental contributor to the Cloud Financials product development team. We're currently creating new technologies that intelligently automate various business processes, which have traditionally required human intervention. We expect these technologies to have a broad range of applications that will drive future projects.

Candidates for this position should possess the following qualifications:

  • 8 years industry experience in business application software development using Java

  • 2 years of experience with cloud computing (Oracle Public Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google)

  • Proven track record of creating and delivering distributed software in a microservices architecture

  • Work Experience in designing/developing software solutions using Agile development methodologies.

  • Strong analytic and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions are a must.

  • Strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask are a must.

  • Work Experience in developing/implementing web application solutions on Financials or any Enterprise software product/project will be an added advantage.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills engaging and influencing peers and executives is essential.

As a Senior Cloud Service Deliver Manager, you are engaged at the account level in providing visibility, service reviews and reporting through all phases of the implementation life cycle, as well as working closely with other AWS teams to ensure that all changes to a customer's environments are smoothly carried out while meeting capacity needs and service level agreements. You will work hand-in-hand with senior stakeholders on opportunities to improve their ICT landscape. You will work across customer organizations and multiple AWS teams to ensure customers' applications are well designed and scale to the needs of their business. You must possess customer facing skills that enable you to represent AWS well within a customer's environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding incidents, trade-offs, best practices, and risk management. Raise internal awareness of customer impacting bugs and/or issues, and drive the appropriate prioritization for fixes and/or responses. * Champion and advocate for customer requirements within AWS (e.g. feature requests). * Participate in customer requested meetings (onsite or via phone). * Provide oversight of escalation, prioritization, and communication and drive customer communication during critical events. * Assist in Design/Architecture of AWS and hybrid cloud solutions.
