As a Principal Application Developer you will provide creative and technical expertise to implement high impacting solutions. The ideal candidate has strong aptitude to deliver results, meeting deadlines and creating high quality out of the box technical solutions. This is a hands-on development role and will provide an opportunity to work with modern technology stack including React, RESTful Webservices, and event-based architecture. The Principal developer will work in a very collaborative and open environment; will closely work with developers, architects, management and other stakeholders across the organization to deliver best in class solutions.

Things You'll Do:

  • Develop & enhance programs that successfully meet objectives

  • Participate effectively in entire software development life cycle

  • Investigate and resolve application issues as needed

  • Collaborate with team to design, develop, test and refine deliverables

  • Collaborate with clients, Product Managers, Architects, & Analysts as needed

  • Acts as an expert source of technology and application knowledge within their domain.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned and available to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Experience You Need:

  • Object Oriented Design & Programming using Java/JEE

  • Java Enterprise Technologies including Servlets and JSPs

  • Web 2.0 frameworks like React and JQuery.

  • Java Persistence Architecture

  • Tomcat

  • Java Messaging System(JMS)/Kafka

  • Unit testing using Junit / Testing

  • Web 2.0 Architecture

  • HTML5, CSS3

  • Development of Restful services using Jersey JAX-RS implementation

  • JSON serialization and deserialization using GSON and Jackson frameworks

  • Custom widgets and component based development using React Java Script Frameworks

  • Agile Software Development Methodology

POSITION SUMMARY The full stack developer is responsible for delivering scalable, innovative and best-in-class web solutions. The successful candidate will be a driven, forward-thinking individual with a proven track record of building and deploying impactful digital experiences for enterprises leveraging Adobe Experience Manager and other DXP platforms. The role requires front-end coding expertise with a high level of proficiency in back-end development and full lifecycle development processes. The candidate will be responsible for leveraging agile methodologies to increase efficiencies and grow the organization's digital maturity within an expanding Adobe environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Play a vital role in the front-end development, design, testing and deployment of best-in-class AEM solutions and components for web and mobile: 50% * Implement complex back-end integrations with marketing technology platforms, work closely with internal clients and external vendors to expand and maintain state-of-the-art digital platform solutions such as AEM and Magento: 50% RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop front end templates in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and reusable components. If no experience with AEM, then experience with similar large scale WCM or CMS such as SDL Tridion, Sitecore, or Fatwire is a must * Design efficient security models, workflows and templates * Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse * Provide production support for JAVA / AEM and problem resolution for assigned applications * Validate development partners are following standard AEM platform delivery process * Work with senior architects, internal IT, and development partners to consult on web technology solutions using the latest Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies * Deliver exceptional client facing results and project success * Consistently develop and deliver high-quality, low-defect features on schedule * Lead by example through the implementation of challenging and complex components for marketing technology & consumer facing platforms MINIMUM JOB Qualifications Education / Training: Bachelor's or master's degree in related field Business Experience: * 8 years of development experience * Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager or multi-site/codebase environment * Minimum 2 years of development and support with Adobe Experience Manager or similar platform Critical Knowledge / Skills: * Expertise in Single Page Application design/development (ex. React.js, Angular, Knockout) * Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript across multiple libraries: Angular.js, Node.js, React * Experience with communicating to different internal servers, databases from AEM, using both front end (ajax, cookies) and back end technologies (servlet, osgi service, Sling) * Experience with Junit and other testing frameworks in AEM * Experience Databases: Relational (MySQL) & Non-Relational (NoSQL – MongoDB specifically) * Experience in Java Content Repository (API) suite, Sling web framework and Apache Felix OSGi framework, DAM, Workflows is required * Strong Java/J2EE background and working knowledge of Spring, Hibernate and Struts frameworks * Agile experience and participation in daily scrum meetings Working Conditions: * Environment – Office environment, minimal travel required Join our team today where we are creating a better coordinated, increasingly collaborative, and more efficient healthcare system!
