Principal All Source Analyst

National Technologies Associates is currently seeking a Principal All Source Analyst for a potential position at our client location Ft. Meade, MD.

Security Requirements:

Active TS/SCI Security Clearance is required

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide support to the Force Protection team to identify intelligence gaps concerning current and emerging threats, and develop intelligence information report evaluations, source-directed requirements, and collection requirements of emphases to focus collection activities against those gaps.

  • Provide general military intelligence analysis and organizational expertise dealing with threats to the U.S Army/DoD interests worldwide

  • Conduct all-source research and threat analysis of counterintelligence, counterterrorism, force protection, and information operations of foreign military forces and their operations, capabilities, activities and trends to support all-source intelligence and threat production, particularly in the areas of threats to U.S. Army and DoD equities

  • Provide support to counterintelligence investigation through liaison with Counterintelligence Agents and other members of the DoD and intelligence community

  • Provide record checks, data research and social networking analysis through the use of intelligence and law enforcement databases and search engines

  • Provide in - depth research regarding biographical intelligence in order to aid investigations, support subject interviews, and case development

  • Conduct research using social networking tools, digital mapping programs, and law enforcement database and research tools, to include Open Source (OSINT) and classified searches

  • Analyze intelligence information to assess developments, trends, and threat implications through comprehensive knowledge of intelligence threat analysis to include forecasting and/or other analytical methodologies

  • Analyze terrorist and Foreign Intelligence Entity (FIE) threats to U.S. Army Forces, programs and operations

  • Provide recommendations on techniques and innovative methods employed in threat analysis and protection

  • Research and analyze military, political, economic, technical and other developments within assigned areas to conduct valid threat assessments

  • Identify intelligence gaps and assist in the development of intelligence collection programs

  • Advise team leaders and chain of command on intelligence findings

  • Plan, coordinate, and synthesize research to prepare all-source intelligence products and responses

  • Ensure products fulfill DA, DoD, and national level intelligence requirements

  • Brief intelligence assessments and positions to senior civilian and Army personnel

Position Requirements:

  • Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 10 years of related Intelligence Analysis experience

  • In addition to analytic skills, have familiarity with CI operational and investigative concepts and procedures, so they are better able to provide relevant analysis to the CI agents and managers they support. (Familiarity with similar HUMINT or law enforcement operational investigative concepts may suffice). Examples of advanced knowledge and skills needed include familiarity with priority threat languages, regional and threat country expertise, and/or skills in technical espionage or terrorist tradecraft.

Support the development of new OSINT targeting and exploitation techniques and apply knowledge to analyze the development of OSINT policy and tradecraft broadly. Apply analytical expertise to work as an open source analyst, providing cutting-edge OSINT collection and analysis, including social media exploitation and big or bulk data exploitation to support the client. Use advanced OSINT and social media collection and analysis techniques to support information requests concerning force protection, indications and warnings, counter threats, counterintelligence, and all source intelligence integration and assessments. Provide risk assessments across a wide range of topics, including transnational and critical infrastructure threats, military capabilities, leadership intentions, and threat networks. Lead the planning and implementation of analytical programs and interface regularly with senior management and Combatant Command leadership. Basic Qualifications: * 3+ years of experience with conducting open source research, all-source intelligence analysis, or targeting * Experience with accessing, researching, and exploiting global and regional social media and digital platforms * Knowledge of US military intelligence processes and methodologies * Knowledge of intelligence needs, planning considerations, courses of action, information, and capability requirements, gaps, and needs * Knowledge of advanced Internet-based research, including Boolean logic, advanced research techniques, search engine and database resources, and Internet sources, including social media, social networking tools, and commercial- and industry-based databases * Ability to employ behavioral and technical research methodologies and tradecraft and brief client leadership and colleagues on the results of research succinctly * Active TS/SCI clearance * HS diploma or GED Additional Qualifications: * Experience in working with USCYBERCOM and associated operations * Knowledge of scripting languages and technologies, including Python, Java, R Script, and JEMA * BA or BS degree * Approved IC, DoD, or Army OSINT Training or equivalent Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
