We are looking Principal Advisor Scheduling and Integrated Sales Operations.
The Principal Advisor Scheduling is tasked with generating short-term sales forecasts, and ensuring alignment between the sales forecast and production planning
Development of tools and systems to support schedule optimisation
Provide weekly revenue forecast to the Kennecott finance team
Interacting with KUC Operations to optimise the production and delivery schedule[NP1] and representing Sales & Marketing in production planning and, outbound logistics discussions and providing timely operational updates to the marketing team
This role will need to work with different teams/roles such as sales, operations, finance, logistics, etc.
Link with sales and sales operations team to gather, analyze and consolidate data into a single forecast
Balancing the working capital requirements of KUC against optimal delivery schedule based on grade.
Work with the OT sales operations team to create a single copper position for Rio Tinto
Provide support for future initiatives regarding potential 3rd party purchase and integrate these into current processes.
Perform ad-hoc raw material invoicing activities
Act as backup for invoicing and collections analyst
Continuously improve forecasting techniques, method, and approach
Continuously identify areas for improvement in current processes and reports
Performance will be measured against revenue, working capital and capacity utilisation targets
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing or a related filed
2-5 years sales and marketing experience with scheduling and / or logistics experience
2-5 years operational experience, copper experience highly desirable
LEAN management experience
Technical Competencies and skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Financial modelling skills
Ability to deal with complex problems and optionality
Demonstrated understanding of copper mining and processing
Comprehensive planning, scheduling and deviation management skills and the ability to solve complex problems
Preferred experience using SAP
Strong internal and external stakeholder management and business partner management skills
Good communication skills, written, verbal and presentation
Ability to operate in matrix organization
Experience in generating and implementing outcomes to improve workflows and processes to increase efficiency and eliminate waste
Using complex database(s) and business systems
Knowledge in accounting practices and accounts receivable a plus
