Compensation
This is a full-time, salaried position working 40 hours/ a week with an annual salary range of $129,842-$155,173. Because of our strong commitment to equity and growth, Impact does not negotiate salaries. Salaries are determined based on years of experience.

In This Position, You Will Be Responsible For:
As the instructional and cultural leader of the school, you will establish and drive the vision and direction of the school in partnership with home office leaders. You are the school based expert on instruction and operations. As the principal, you will serve as a role model and build a community to uphold a positive culture focused on high expectations and growth for all students.
3 Key Leadership Responsibilities:
Establish and drive the academic vision to improve student achievement and growth through data-driven planning, coaching, and professional development.
Develop the school's cultural vision including expectations, values, climate and restorative practices. Serve as a role model and motivator.
Build partnerships to engage families and community members in the school's vision. Promote the school brand.
3 Key Administrative Responsibilities:
Human Resources & Talent Development: In partnership with Impact's Talent and HR team, recruit, develop, and retain highly effective teachers and staff. Collaborate with the Talent and HR team on HR functions such as hiring, evaluations, training, coaching and promoting teacher leadership opportunities.
Operations: In partnership with the Director of School operations and Impact's home office operations team, manage budgets, facilities, schedules, safety, and other school operations efficiently.
Finance: In partnership with Impact's Finance team, oversee school finances responsibly, equitably, and ethically. Manage resources to support the instructional model.

Instructional Leadership: Expertise in pedagogy, curriculum, assessment and evidence-based practices to improve instruction and achievement. Ability to develop teachers' capabilities.
Influencing and Relationship-Building: Skills to influence diverse stakeholders, build relationships, and promote collaboration around the school vision.
Organization and Management: Strong planning, organization, and resource management skills to lead efficient, equitable, and ethical school operations.
Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex situations and propose creative solutions that uphold the school's vision and values.
Continuous Improvement Mindset: Commitment to data-informed evaluation and ongoing improvement to reach the school's goals and vision for students.
Required Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years teaching experience, preferably at the elementary school level, with a history of success improving scholar achievement
Prior administrative experience as an Assistant Principal or Principal
A valid Washington State Administrative Credential or comparable out of state credential which is transferable to WA
Passion for equity and gap closing teaching experience with proven record of student growth
License/Certification
Must have or be eligible to obtain a CPR certification
Must have or be eligible to obtain a food handler certification
