THE WORK

TKO provides systems engineering, software development, data science and cloud development and engineering services to the Cyber Infrastructure Solutions customer. The services enable the Data Transformation, Malware Analysis, and Cyber Threat Intelligence processing and sharing capabilities for the customer, fulfilling mission objectives and offering actionable information to detect and mitigate cyber threats. The contract has several locations in Maryland and a small contingent in Texas.

WHO YOU ARE

• You are a Senior Software Engineer who will provide data modeling to the Data Transformation Solutions (DTS) TTO which provides normalization of cyber security data and automation of threat intelligence.

• You will provide data or process modelling support for modelling cyber data into a common data model, and will be responsible for modelling new concepts into a standard data model to satisfy compliance, storage and retrieval concerns, and reviewing mappings into the model.

Basic Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience

OR

• A Bachelor's degree in an engineering/technical discipline from an accredited college in a related discipline with 20 years or more of systems engineering experience.

OR

• A Master's degree or PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.

Required skills/experience:

• Hands-on experience with XML/XSD

• Experience with data or process abstraction, or database design experience

• Critical reasoning

• Strong communication skills

• Familiarity with agency data formats (SOTF/BME, BLMA, TSDF)

• Experience building conceptual or logical models

Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly SP

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
