To gain market share in the Interventional business by promoting, selling, and servicing Medtronic's Interventional Radiology products within assigned territory.

A DAY IN THE LIFE - POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide educated and knowledgeable case support to assigned accounts through direction from the District Manager to which they are assigned.
Works directly with the Regional Manager to strategically identify targets and opportunities.
Answer questions and provide technical expertise on the safe and effective use of products for the customer.
Be a resource within the assigned territory and region to ensure that opportunities for case coverage are met.
Be a product expert within the territory and for the customer during case support activities.
Understands the full use of the products in the appropriate types of cases and is able to encourage additional use of Medtronic products within a case where clinically appropriate.
Responsible for achieving or exceeding the assigned quota
Conducts all business with customers in a manner that adheres to healthcare compliance guidelines & FDA Guidelines.
Time and territory management goals are met
Grow business substantially in territory
MUST HAVE - BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

NICE TO HAVE - DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Science
Experience in a highly Customer focused, competitive selling environment, medical sales are preferred
Technical aptitude and interest in medical device sales career path
Strong clinical knowledge and aptitude
Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and apply it in a live, case setting
Quickly builds rapport with clinical aptitude
Detail oriented with the ability to provide inventory administration
Works well within a team and receives daily direction

Work and Travel Requirements
Available/willing to work/travel weekends and evenings
This position requires on-call time
Continuous verbal and written communication
Ability to transport product/equipment from car to hospital
Sitting, standing and/or walking for up to eight plus hours per day
Environmental exposures include eye protection, infectious disease and radiation
Ability to travel extensively with ease (approx. 10% of time)
Must be able to drive approximately 80% of the time within assigned territory
Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application.
