About the Opportunity Help us succeed by doing your part as a member of our Prime Room as an Adhesive Primer.

A Primer Applies adhesive primer to anodized surfaces of aluminum and titanium aircraft parts applying knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques, using spray painting equipment, power tools, and work aids


  • Applies adhesive and corrosion primer coating to prepared aircraft structures in accordance with engineering planning documents and customer specifications.

  • Masks and covers surfaces not to be painted.

  • Uses spray equipment to spray specified amount of thickness of primer onto prepared surfaces

  • Regulates controls on equipment to cure and dry paint or other coatings.

  • Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent.

  • Reads and follows engineering pictorials for the masking and priming of parts, and the inspection of parts for defects.

  • Records completion of painting operations on planning documents.

  • Understands coating and cure times and schedules work to meet schedule requirements.



  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

  • At least two years of industrial paint/prime application experience is desired.

  • Must be proficient in the usage of hand tools.

As an integral part of the division leadership team this role will directs and manage the FMC Fuel Systems Operations and Product strategy consistent with FMC division and Aerospace Group goals and objectives. Key responsibilities: * Overall P & L responsibility for the FMC Fuel Systems sites. * Overall responsibility for Fuel Systems Program Management to drive customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and overall program performance. * Ensures resources are allocated appropriately to support full product life-cycle – NPD and fielded products. Leads Fuel Systems multi-generational product plan for the Division. * Drives improvements in NPD management to improve execution and cost (EAC) control * Leads the product line strategic and profit planning processes that establishes the regions roadmap for growth and develops supporting budgets * Ensures business processes are managed appropriately * Facilitates cross functional working to ensure alignment to meet business objectives * Provides leadership in coordinating and transitioning advanced technology applications into the business by combining program technology requirement and manufacturing capabilities * Leads BU investment decision making for large investments and up-front development programs * Develops Program Management pipeline/skills by gaining experience on NPD and fielded products – solving complex issues * Develops the organization through recruitment of top talent, skill development of existing organization, and establishment of an effective performance management process * Fosters an environment which promotes Eaton's goals, values & philosophy and encourages continuous improvement * Owns customer relationships for all fuel system customers coordinating issue resolution and growth opportunities across all Aerospace businesses.
