Help Amazon customers get their groceries ultrafast. We are hiring shopping associates for our on line grocery delivery service, with flexible hours that fit into your life. As an Amazon Prime Now associate, you will work filling Prime customer orders and preparing them for delivery. Items for delivery include a large variety of everyday needs including food, household items, and so much more!

These associate positions will support the Amazon Prime Now business. Prime Now is an app offered by Amazon to Prime members that delivers a variety of items to customers quickly (sometimes in an hour). One of the services offered through Prime Now is ultra-fast delivery of local store's products like food and everyday items found in a grocery store. The positions we are hiring will be responsible for filling customer orders that be delivered directly to customer's homes.

Shift Requirements:
During your first two weeks you will complete an orientation/training that is on a fixed schedule. After successfully completing your training period you will select all future shifts based on your personal availability and interest.

Flexible Shift Options

  • This role is part-time, up to 20 hours per week the available shifts and number of hours each week will vary on business need

  • We especially need associates who like to work on Saturday and SundaySelect from the weekly posted shifts that work with your schedule our business typically operates between 6 am to 10 pm daily

  • Average shifts are 4-5 hours long and you can work up to 10 hours per day, generally up to [20][25] hours a week

  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays

  • Ability to work all areas of the operation, including Amazon locations within a metro area

  • You are comfortable with the online shopping experience

Amazon Prime Now shopper's will have the opportunity to select shifts on all days of the week (Sunday-Saturday) from 6am-10pm. Typical shifts are 4-5 hours and you can choose to work a double shift on one day or work multiple shifts throughout the week. You can work up to 20 hours per week. Many of the shifts are weekend and evening due to higher customer demand at those times.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 18 years old or older

  • Capable ofreading and speaking basic English

  • Able to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 4 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reachwith or without reasonable accommodation

POSITION SUMMARY Under direction of the Team Leader of Shopper Insights, the Shopper Insights Analyst position's role is to develop impactful insight-based recommendations that drive category and customer strategies to win in the marketplace. This position is responsible for developing and communicating shopper insights for the category and customers using diverse sources. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Consulting * Drive initiative on insight generation through syndicated research/market data, (e.g. Nielsen POS, IRI, panel data) and manage custom Nielsen studies to help optimize base business and innovation success. (+/-50% of time) o Help NSO & Shopper Marketing understand what is happening in the marketplace with a holistic view of the shopper to help them prioritize understanding the 'why behind the what'. o Nurture the mastery for business knowledge through secondary research, along with NSO and Shopper Marketing teams. * Drive initiative on insight generation through custom research to help develop stronger understanding of growth opportunities that support business strategy. (+/- 50% of time) o Understand the 'why' through primary, custom research with qualitative and quantitative studies. o Frame, design, analyze and present studies. o Help NSO & Shopper Marketing continue to drive category growth and customers strategies by gathering deeper insights on the shopper, customer perspective, and barriers/enablers along the path to purchase o Create shopper & customer empathy/understanding across the business team by clearly articulating existing shopper & customer learning and identifying actionable learning needs o Use transparent, strategy-aligned criteria to assess the value of projects to the business. o Collaborate across the Consumer & Market Intelligence function to leverage our scale and increase speed via effectiveness (best practices internally and externally, integrated knowledge) and efficiencies (standardized, consistent across NUSA, optimized cost base). o Redefine medium-value requests and eliminate or outsource low-value requests. o Aspire to develop a business-owner mindset rather than a researcher mindset, being motivated and vested in the big-picture impact of research and insights. o Work with Managers and Directors to prioritize and deliver on key projects o Performance will be measured on the ability to change thinking, influence decisions, and impact business strategy. o Develop Category/Shopper Insights o Effectively communicate and embed learning to increase the impact of insights into action by making them relevant to the business strategy. o Add value to knowledge sharing by connecting the dots about the shopper and customer to show cumulative knowledge. o Proactively pursue opportunities for impact by systematically seeking and exploiting opportunities to leverage research/learning on high-value topics unseen or ignored by business partners and use influence to activate those opportunities. o Focus on establishing business partners' decisions and aligning the research agenda to them, then tailor communications of research findings to support upcoming decisions. o Develop and consistently review shopper learning plan to identify the most impactful areas of learning.
