Purpose of Role

All Lowe's associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Pricing Signage Coordinator, this means:

  • Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly to customer and associate needs.

  • Ensuring merchandise pricing is updated and displayed accurately.

  • Maintaining signage to keep stores clean, safe and presentable for customers.

The Pricing Signage Coordinator helps ensure our customers have a positive shopping experience by neatly displaying up-to-date and accurate pricing and signage. This associate hangs, removes, and replaces signage throughout the store in accordance with the sales promotion schedule.

Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Provides SMART customer service at all times through the daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs.

  • Seeks out customers to understand his/her needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise.

  • Listens to and responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions by taking them to areas of the store and walking them through projects when necessary.

  • Demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers.

  • Communicates information to customers regarding all stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information related to Lowe's programs.

  • Cross-functionally trains in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.

  • Builds relationships with customers and vendors.

  • Supports customer service and sales during peak selling periods.

In-Stock

  • Locates, validates, and secures arrived signage.

  • Maintains point-of-sale signage (including bin and beam label stock) and ensures all bin locators are in place.

Clean and Safe Stores

  • Hangs and removes signage throughout the store in accordance with the promotion schedule/expiration.

  • Audits and updates signs and pricing labels displayed inside and outside the store to ensure accuracy.

  • Follows state-specific guidelines on price changes.

  • Performs price reviews in accordance with Pricing Policy SF-06.

  • Detects common signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks, and promptly communicates them to management and/or Asset Protection.

  • Ensures compliance with housekeeping standards and programs (e.g., Zone Recovery) to maintain cleanliness and organization of store and working areas.

  • Maintains a safe and secure work environment, which may include conducting daily safety reviews, noting hazards, keeping aisles clear, and securing doors and gates.

Ensures an excellent customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store. Responsibilities: * Role models exceptional customer service * Creates a positive internal and external customer experience * Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality * Takes an active role in the hiring process (scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, etc.) and in the onboarding process of new Associates * Maintains Associate personnel files according to company guidelines * Performs daily cash office functions and maintains cash office standards * Supports Operations Assistant Store Manager with scheduling, expense account monitoring, supply inventory and requisition * Maintains proper Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience * Supports and responds to coverage needs throughout the store * Ensures store team executes tasks and daily activities in accordance with store plan; reprioritizes as needed * Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides periodic progress updates * Provides and accepts ongoing recognition and constructive feedback * Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness * Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures * Maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store * Promotes credit and loyalty programs during customer interactions * Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs * Promotes safety awareness and supports maintenance of a risk-free environment * Performs other duties as assigned Requirements: * Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, including nights and weekends * Superior organizational skills with attention to detail * Capable of handling multiple tasks at one time * Ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations * Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasks * Strong communication skills * Ability to train others * One year retail and 6 months of leadership experience At TJ Maxx there's so much potential to discover something new.
