Role Summary:

The Pricing & Quotations Specialist serves as an analyst to execute pricing strategies, gather market price intelligence, and provide global pricing support for Cell Culture products. This role ensures the alignment of pricing and sales initiatives through generating and managing customer pricing quotations for standard and custom Cell Culture products and services.

Essential Responsibilities:

Pricing responsibilities include developing and implementing tools to analyze product volume and profitability impact, assessing pricing related risks, and identifying pricing actions to help drive business growth. Quotation responsibilities include reviewing and responding to daily inquiries which may include performing analyses and collaborating with key cross-functional team members to create and finalize quotes.

Create and manage global pricing lists

Build and maintain dashboards, metrics reports, models and complete other ad hoc projects as necessary

Analyze and present data in relation to pricing/quoting trends, exchange rates, average selling prices, elasticity, risk assessment, etc.

Identify opportunities to increase revenue through product price adjustments specific to customers and regions

Collaborate with product management to establish, provide, and adjust pricing guidance for commercial/sales teams

Provide insights to pricing strategy discussions with product management and commercial teams, involving leadership for approvals when necessary

Review, process, and respond to daily quotation inquiries promptly and accurately

Collaborate with Core Account and Contract Review teams to complete projects and proposal requests


Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, statistics, accounting, business or related are

Minimum of 2 years of experience in pricing, finance, statistics, data analytics or related field

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and other applications

Excellent oral and written communications skills

Skilled in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks

Team oriented: Ability to work well with diverse, cross-functional teams

Ability to work quickly and successfully amid change and ambiguity

Desired Characteristics:
3+ years of experience in pricing, finance, statistics, data analytics or related field

Background in cell culture or related area within life sciences

Working knowledge of SFDC and Oracle applications

Expertise in project management and/or process improvement

The Sales Specialist Plumbing serves as an expert, explaining the specifications and features of a product or service to existing or potential customers, with the goal of closing a sale. This associate provides exceptional consultative services to customers and confirms their needs are met before leaving the store. The Sales Specialist Plumbing is also responsible for executing orders and projects in their area of focus. Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular travel; however, this role may need to travel on occasion to meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores. What We're Looking For * Hourly Full Time: Generally scheduled 39 to 40 hours per week, respectively; more hours may be required based on the needs of the store. * Requires morning, afternoon and evening availability any day of the week. * Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties. * Minimally must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance; may lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance. What You Need To Succeed Minimum Qualifications * High School Diploma or equivalent. * 1 year of external experience in customer facing sales OR 6 months Lowe's retail experience. Preferred Qualifications * 1 year of experience entering and submitting customer sales orders, including Special Order Sales. * 2 years of experience identifying and selling products based upon customer needs or plans. * 2 years of experience in providing customer service including identifying and resolving customer complaints, greeting customers, answering phones, building relationships with customers, and thanking customers for their business. * 2 years of experience following up on outstanding or incomplete customer orders, sales, or installs. * 1 year of experience promoting product related services and plans such as installation, delivery, credit financing, or extended protection plans. * 2 years of experience in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics. * 1 year of employment with Lowe's as a Sales Specialist. * 1 year of experience in a trade directly related to fashion bath or plumbing. If the state or local municipality requires a salesperson license for this position, you must either be licensed or pass the requisite licensing exam within sixty (60) days of starting employment in this position.
